Although the DSS invasion and continued detention of lawmakers is illegal, I think these legislators goofed on this one. It's beginning to look like something else, and it's less dignifying.

My uncle keeps laughing at me for voting APC....he actually told me arrest, bail, court cases are all we are going to get if pmb wins and it's happening already.

PMB can't sentence anybody automatically, this is the beauty of democracy. Besides, where was those miscreants when PDP invaded APC office removing their computer files and folders including other sensitive information before the election?

Borno State House of Assembly gets arrested instead of the members

thats a very good development. I really worry for this country called Nigeria under the dictatorial rulership of Buhari. Every institution of government has been politicized including the military that i have so much respect and regard for. It seems the DSS is the worst hit. It has become nothing more than a political tool in the hands of anti democratic elements in the APC

We were colonized by British and we got our independence in 1960. It's my candid opinion that if at all there is need for protest, it should be at the National Assembly and to some extent Security outfit offices. We also have the courts. Hope the leaders of this nation will draw the attention of the power that be to respect the law of the land. The nation's security agencies should not be allowed to be used by the politicians, otherwise there is nothing stopping the next incoming administration not to exactly do what this administration has done in demotions and retirements of these security personnel.
