Governor Yahaya Bello Appoints Board Chairmen, Others
The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of three board chairmen. The Chairmen are Barrister (Mrs) Justina Abanida from Yagba West Local Government Area as Chairperson of the State Universal Education Board, Alhaji Oseni Yakubu from Okene Local Government Area as the Chairman of the Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue, while Mr. Emmanuel Odiniya from Olamaboro Local Government Area is appointed Chairman of Bureau of Local Government Pension.
Governor Bello also appointed Arc. Robert M. Achanya as the Director General, Bureau of Public Private Partnership and Barrister Moses Okezie Okafor as Senior Special Assistant on Reseach, Development and Speech Writing.
According to the Governor, the appointments which were announced through the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Ayoade Folashade, take immediate effect. He urged the appointees to always display high level responsibility and probity in line with the direction of the administration’s commitment to service delivery to the Kogi people.
