I have finally resign from the banking job and I am very happy now with my earnings and freedom.

For me to resign I had to work as Bolt driver everyday I close from the bank and drive till 10pm and worked all through the weekends as a bolt driver, with this I was able to save 1million in short period of time and got loan of 1.5m to get another car.

So now my monthly savings after other expenses is 200k which I plan to pay back the loan in six month starting form this month.

I only work from Wednesday to Sunday every week now since I resigned.
Thanks for all the support from here, other contract staff bankers especially men reading this post should look for exits root immediately as there is no future in the banking industry for us as a polytechnic graduates.

I base in Port Harcourt.

So I'm a graduate of civil engineering, but work as a contract staff in a bank for over 5years with 100k salary.

I bought a functional car which fit into bolt but I'm scared of resigning from my job as I have family responsibilities.

This bank work doesn't give me opportunity to grow with them and time to do other side hustle and I know one day it's either they sack me or I leave.(but one must happen)

Please I need advice if I should still continue this work or start street hustle.

Note: I save the money for this car from salary and side hustle base on what I studied in school.

When I came back home from my journey today I saw picture of a cat killed by my neighbors inside my room.

It fell from the ceiling when they both had serious fight last night which made my wife to leave the house by 1:00am

Hello friends although this may sound strange to some person but it's the truth.

I have seen many family men who were well to do left 3 bedroom flats apartment to a self contain in port Harcourt due to lost of jobs. Some even sold the house they built and move to a rented apartment. Stop bragging your little mouth cos you are yet to experience life.

Does staying in his perent place guarantee him his job? infact it will make him to feel more comfortable that he is seeing money.
