ODVanguard: Yoruba youths should not allow Lagos and by extension the SW to be turned into a theatre of war over a national problem.
Why did the FG choose to carry out its massacre in Lagos and not Abuja?? Aren't violent protests also happening in Abuja? Aren't thugs also hijacking protest in Abuja?
Yoruba people should please receive brain and not become pawns in a power game.
FG could have used tear gas or rubber bullets to disperse the protesters. Very easily. But they chose to escalate the standoff by using live bullets. Why??
Anybody that wants to overthrow Buhari should head to Abuja and do whatever they have in mind to effect that. Buhari's seat of power is in Abuja not Lagos.
But know this, Buhari can never be overthrown from Lagos so Yorubas should receive sense.
Yoruba leaders should be strategic.
If our enemies incite or instigate a situation whereby Lagos is destabilised or burned to the ground, FG will still rule from Abuja.
Yoruba, e ya ara yin ni brain. If you take away all the pigs in Lagos you hv sane prosperous city. But pigs with their hatred are disaster on any land |
Politics › Re: Who Are The Soldiers Killing People At Lekki Gates by 2by40ft: 7:20am On Oct 21, 2020 |
Tumbulum: Go check them out, they are northern Muslims. Mostly Hausa and Fulani soldiers. They have a duty to keep Nigeria for their selfish benefit even at the expense of the southern blood. It happened with ipob and now its happening in lekki gate. To these guys Nigeria must be kept together at all cost.
No southern soldier will shoot at his brother to defend this country. No Yoruba soldier can shoot at lekki protesters knowing fully well he is shooting at his kinsmen.
This is a battle of North vs south. They do it with to make sure they country remain under their country. But one day people will gladly embrace death to deliver this country. I pray for an insurrection in the Nigerian army. Southern soldiers need to come and protect their brothers. Enough is enough Wail me a river |

HAccord: The minority Tiv dealt with you fulanis severally, yet you think your fulani jihad would have succeeded in Decentralized and repulican Igboland? Go and read about the Ekumeku war-longest war against the British (with all their canons and guns) in Africa.
Your fulani forebears had ventured into Igboland, made their assesments and ran away, it was a no go area for your Jihad stupidity.
How would you have convinced an Igboman who believed suicide was an abomination to turn against his brother and die for your fulani suicidal mohammedian hegemony before he can enter Elu-Igwe (heaven), like you did with hausas and some yorubas? Can't read whatever nonsense you said here. Just know that from your great grandfathers to date Fulanis are the source of your misery, anger and wailing. |

Rosskii: Use your head. I never said anything about ''caliphate''. I said the south stood strong against any NORTHERN INCURSIONS for 600 years plus, and that is a historical fact. There was never any attempt before the establishment of caliphate. Oh god! I'm wasting time with ignorant of history. |
Politics › Re: Why Should The South Remain With The North In Nigeria? by 2by40ft: 8:24pm On Oct 20, 2020 |
Rosskii: You are WRONG.
The Benin empire with its mighty army stood strong against northern incursions for 600 years, ably supported by the Oyo Empire. In addition, the Igbo republican chiefdoms were in heavily forested areas that would have been the impossible for northern cavalry to penetrate.
There was NO WAY the north was going to take over the south, or they would have done so long before the colonial era. For 600 years? There was never caliphate until 1800 and the hausa states before that was never in to any conquest but depending their territories from 1 another. But you can discard the truth and stick to folklore to console ursef |

HAccord: The Britons can never agree to share the same country with pseudo-arab like the Turks. Heck! they couldn't even share the same EU with the Germans, French, Scandinavians etc. yet they expect the majorly Christian south with liberal tribes to share the same country with conservative and feudalists pseudo-arabs in the core north?
Why does mankind love to deceive themselves? You are even lucky Britons saved you from the Jihadists conquests led by Usman bin fodio. At that time your tribes were no match for the Fulanis. Thanks the coming of European. By 1900 your people were still evolving to be homo-something |

Very dumb set of people...Everytime we give our opinion on this protest and it's against theirs, they begin to curse and give threats. How can these set of people be peaceful? How can you even prove to the world that with such large number of people, there won't be people with ulterior motive (esp. in a country like Nigeria). If you think everyone in all these protest is peaceful, it means you are very very dumb

2. Appreciate them for their attempts at making it peaceful even though it was beyond them as the protests were hijacked by hoodlums. ...
3. On this basis, put an end to the protests, give your crocodiles some work to do. Anybody wey mumu carry placard again, make crocodile smile to am..EOD! Please let this beautiful show continue. |
