I dnt think early registration can also influence one's posting, cos back den during my time I was Ak/14b/1695,nd ma posting was uyo witout payin a dine to anybody. Infact 2 of my other colleagues Dat came frm same school were all posted in uyo. I fink prayer is also very necessary. confess the experience is mind blowing. Camping akwa ibom ain't too fun due to the rigid state coordinator Lady Chukwuka Ngozi Nkirikuka who has a very strict nature and abhors corruption.

'Influencing' your posting to Uyo and other big cities are very
tough because of this same state coordinator, so y'all have to be careful who you hand your money to..but make sure you get close to the ICT guys who will register you on that first day because trust me they won't say it but they are the surest people to help you influence your posting, disregard all Local Govt Inspectors and Platoon Officer because Lady Ngozika doesn't give them slots anymore The common slogan of Akwa Ibom camp is Discipline and neatness, don't litter the floor or you might be shocked at what the soldiers might punish you with Power bank is very important because there are no wall outlets to charge your cell phones in the hostels Important to mention are camp activities: Please don't participate in camp activities thinking it will help them give you a favourable posting - this may be done in other states but not in akwa ibom, What I'm sure of is that make sure you register early as soon as camp open (0001-0150) are sure banker for Uyo LG, you might also get posted randomly and not by your level of participation in camp, worthy to note is that our general commander was posted to a thick forest even after he commanded the parade for 3weeks, same thing happened to others that participated in drama, dance, peagentries, quarter guard and even parade.

If I bring all my other load separately coz I don't think I wanna cone back to Lag after the three weeks.
Is there a place I can just drop them on camp because they will contain some contraband items.

It will be different from the small load I'll bring to camp o. It will just be a Ghana must go back that will contain the little property I can use to start before I get on my feet.

I don't want to spend another 20k because I want to come and carry load worth 15k.

You can keep it in camp store..you will just write ur State code no on it....

Information reaching me is that the only means of transport I can get at the airport is a cab and that cabs charge 4k per trip. To be more explicit, I'll be charged 4k from the airport to uyo then another 4k to the camp ground.

Please do you know any bus terminal coming to Akwa Ibom.
Secondly, I believe most buses are coming to Uyo, how does one get to the camp from there.
Third, is there electricity on camp or you have to manage your battery for three weeks.

I traveled 2ru Ilorin... but u might likely get a Bus at Ojueleba(Akwa ibom transport company) or Ibom transport company, just try and make enquiries..

No light in camp seems d host community and NYSC are still at Logger head on d light issue, you might aff to subject yourself to Mami market to charge ur phone or if u are a Muslim u can go to Mosque likewise being a Christian u can equally go to Chapel to charge ur phone.
