Politics / Re: Hardship Bites Harder On Obidients As They Vow Never To Vote Again by 2elliot: 9:34am On Sep 17
Ezewuzie01:
Several obidients abi na Zombiedients called into a radio show lamenting the hardship they are facing with the rise in prices, they all seem united in their determination not to waste their time voting again even as one of them confessed that it was her pastor in church who forced her and other church members to go and vote for the church candidate Obi. She regretted trekking around that day under hot sun looking for her polling unit that was moved to another location only for her to be faced with the present situation and her pastor still collects tithes and has not apologized for misleading them with fake prophesy of victory for the agulu religious bigot.

Because Ibos have no where to go and so they attach impossible conditions like taking hostile enemy nations with them. Biafra referendum will fail woefully in the 5 South East states. Ibos have been isolated all their history. That is why Ibos crave outside validation to their existence.

Example, Ibos cannot have a successful forum like nairaland because no matter how many Ibos engage there it would fail as the failure of other Nigerians to engage will make Ibos lose interest and kill it. It also explains why Ibos appear noisy and unruly. Ibo need attention like humans need oxygen.

Ibos don't want Biafra. It's all an attention seeking stunt that backfired. When the time comes, it is the Yorubas that will end Nigeria and the map of Ibo country will be decided by the rest of Nigeria..

Stop disrespecting the ikwerres. From time immemorial they have told you who they are. If Ikwerres you think have similarities with you don't you think you are Ikwerre?
Before the war Ikwerres said they had no relationship with you and that was why you dealt with them during the war. After the war they maintained their stance.
It is not only Ikwerres and Igbos who share similar languages in the world. This phenomenon exists all over the world. It is called mutual intelligibility in linguistics. Study and move on. Today there are more English speakers in USA than in the UK if not for written history would you have believed that people in USA migrated from the UK?
Don't you think if at all there is a connection that the Igbos left Ikwerre land?
As long as there is God, all of us will be judged. God is not a banter God whom you can tell that you all were catching Cruise because Nigeria is a Cruise country, or tell lies because lies mean nothing to Nigerians. All of us will be judged by our actions: for every lie we told; for every wickedness we showed; for every oppression and intimidation; for every pain we caused.

Tell your governors, ministers, house of reps members, assembly men, and councillors to return home first. Then tell them to propose a constitutional amendment to incorporate the terms secession and referendum which your erratic and unstable forebear Nnamdi Azikiwe opposed in 1953.
You cannot be shouting Peter Obi for president while also supporting confirmed terrorists like Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa and screaming Biafra or death.
This is a sincere advise to all Ibo men and women.
Warmest regards.
Nigeria has never held a referendum of any sort whereby the people truly had a say. So, stop using Azikiwe as an excuse. Azikiwe did not sort the opinion of anybody, neither did he speak for anyone but himself. The different ethnic groups in today Nigeria were colonised without anybody's permission. It was joined as Nigeria without the majority people's permission. It got independence without any referendum of the people, but as a result of few individuals' agitations.
The 1999 constitution was not put by the people. So, there is no legality in the true sense of it. The processes that brought about those senators and governors are flawed and do not represent the people. And besides, nothing is an absolute. Time changes, likewise laws. Slavery was once legal. Whatever legality Nigeria as a country had has eroded, and therefore the different indigenous people in the enclave can ask for separation since the union has failed them. It is there right. No one is a slave. Even marriages collapse. There is no good reason to force anyone to stay. Nigeria does not have any good argument to keep the Igbos. Nnamdi Azikiwe did not force anyone in his time, rather his argument to keep Nigeria one won the day. Let those who preach one Nigeria today bring their debates forward, and they should stop threatening the Igbos or anyone else. Everyone has equal right to stay or to leave.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Lmao......

The arrogance of your ignorance is embarrassing to your masters in terrorism Nnamdi kanu and Simon Ekpa.
The default mindset of a typical mindless IPOB minion is that anyone opposed to your demented Biafra agitation is either a Yoruba, a Muslim or a unity beggar.
The fortunate fact is that the information on the internet is available everywhere and free and from information available there is no tribe in Nigeria more committed and proponents of unity Begging like the Ibo tribe.

In 1953,Obafemi Awolowo advocated in parliament that a secession and referendum clause be included in the up coming constitution however he was vehemently opposed by an Ibo man named Nnamdi Azikiwe. You may choose to enlighten yourself on this thread below where at Azikiwe argues blindly against secession and referendum in 1953.

https://www.nairaland.com/8150566/nnamdi-azikiwes-1953-speech-opposing

In January 1966 an Ibo, Ignatius Ironsi became Nigeria head of state after the Ibo coup of January 15th 1966 and introduced decree 34 of 1966 which abolished the regional government and introduced the unitary system of government. So who is the main tribe promoting unity Begging here?

In 1967 another Ibo, Odumegwu Ojukwu plunged his tribe and the whole country into a bloody civil war in which he led over 3 million of his own Ibo people to a needless slaughter and then when he saw the handwriting of defeat staring him in the face he abandoned his poor people and fled to Ivory Coast where he lived large at the behest of Houphet Boigny, the then president of Ivory Coast. While there Ojukwu never spared a thought for the people he led to slaughter but engaged in debauchery while divorcing and marrying various women.
In 1983,in the greatest display of unity Begging Odumegwu Ojukwu pleaded and begged President Shehu Shagari to be allowed to return to Nigeria to be allowed to contest for the low seat of a senator on the NPN ticket. Fortunately he lost the election woefully to an unknown NPP candidate. Is this not like the case of a dog returning to eat its putrid vomit? What can be more unity Begging than the video below? Just imagine the way the coward is Begging to return to a country he waged a treasonous war against and cost so many citizens their lives.

Good day. I have been reading a few books on the fraudulent business relationship between Sir Loius Ojukwu and Nnamdi Azikiwe and how they used the Africa continental bank to rip off the old Eastern region. You are not wise. The east didn't count because south west had an alliance with the north. But if that alliance is broken, then south west alone can not produce the president. That makes the east important to the north. Remember that east and south south have similar voting patterns.

You still don't want to be wise. There is no region that can singlehandedly produce the president. Not the north, east, south south or south west. Only and alliance of two or more. But seemingly, the alliance between the south west and north is shaky. That makes the east and or south south very important to jagaban.

Yoruba never questioned Ibo political choices and never called them betrayers
You have a right to vote as you like
We respect that
So do we.
Respect that too.

Why is that complex or hard?

S why calling us betrayers?

When did we bring wine to your house to beg for marriage

Stay on your lane and do what you have always done privately

Why now getting emotional and abusive ?

We do not expect anything from you.

We only point out you did not vote for Abiola when you say

"Yoruba betrayed south in 2015"

If you did not betray south in 1960, 1965, 1979, 1984 or 1993 then how is our in 2015 a betrayal
and which "south" are we talking about.?

But you antagonise them for voting Obasanjo instead of Falae, your choice?
