I am very much in support of suing but the CBN. However, the fundamental question is; will this change anything? Even if the CBN cancels this recruitment and do an open one, the children of the politically connected would still be the one to be appointed. It's just like the immigration test in which people lost their lives writing test for positions that had already been filled through the backdoor. Why put people through the stress of applying and hoping to be employed when those to be employed have already been determined. We need to move beyond open recruitments and get to a point where we can be sure that people without connections are employed on merit. You don't want the abnormalities to be corrected and you still want fair recruitment. How do you achieve this? |

myproperty:This recruitment was done by CBN in 2014/2015. Who was president then. If u think other wise the prove ur point. Instead of making noise. Am not defending APC but at least they have an advantage over PDP and that is time. PDP has ruled for sixteen yrs, yet no meaningful development in this country. And u are blaming a govt that is barely a yr for all Nigeria problem. |

This one na story. Even if CBN asks everybody to submit CV, how will SERAP stop the HR from picking the same people and saying they are the best choice?! |

4nobody4every1: Told you corruption was nigh impossible to end in Nigeria. Instead of tackling the root cause, the structure that makes a CBN governor 'NEED' to hand those appointments out like candy to a group of misfits as the pre-emminent arm of financial Nigeria battles the worst economic recession in decades they will approach the hydra headed monster with a beard trimmer claiming to fight corruption. If they wanted to impress us that wards of Nigeria's elite will bring us out of recession hence the need to employ them in the CBN, they could have done that by drafting them to the army to liberate us from Harambook. |

kiyosaki1:Bro those employed by the CBN ate children of the ruling class, they are not magicians to be part of the ruling class, its all about being smart and hard work, if u want to belong be a member of the ruling class. no 1 dares challenge you. GEJ did same in 2009, 2011 and 2012 in the recruitment of Customs all the new generation Customs officers belong to the families of either the ruling class or very senior customs officers retired and serving no 1 got that job on the platter of gold I m a Customs officer I know what I m yelling u... go and see the number of officers from Porthacort, Bayelsa, Kaduna and katsina, that is Patience, Goodluck , Sambo and former CG Dikko its like the job belong to these 4 states.... other states with no 1 in the ruling class then eg Lagos, Nasarawa, Yobe etc has less than 15 officers recruited while these Rivers, Bayelsa, Kaduna and Katsina has close to 200 each... so my guy forget this is naija for you.... |

charliboy654:That is what we were told but we do know that it is this government and their cronies that were employed( including CBN top hierachy's people). If it was actually done in 2014 has we are made to believe why is it that the former government cronies were not employed. Why did we not hear about the secret employment at that time? why is this government being accused? I am not surprised when you said no meaningful achievement was recorded in sixteen years of PDP. The sequence of lies is still going on. Kudos to the lie syndrome |
