Its dependent on the vehicle under consideration. What vehicle did you obtain the stated figures from? Thanks. |

Very good. Most likely, this figure came from a <2.0Liter Engine Capacity. And I won't be surprised if it's from : The Honda Civics, Citys, Prelude ; The Kia Ceratos, Rios, Picantos The Hyundai i10, Accent, Elantra The Toyota Corollas, Versos, Yaris ; The VW Boras, Jettas, Polos, Golfs ; The Audi A3 The Mazda 323Fs, 3s The Nissan Sunny, Almeda, Cube, Getz The Volvo V40/S40 The Mercedes Benz A150, C180/240 etc Am I right? |

That is more than good. A lot of people can only dream about such high FE in highway driving talk less of city driving. |

seems my Nissan has a better fuel economy than that. it's something I recorded my self not hear say 8.7L to 9L for city driving and around 6L or less for highway driving per 100km Engine capacity 1.5L I4 with 90hp. |

Re: 10litres Of Pms For Every 100km (city Driving) Would U Consider This High by salvo583: 5:29pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
i get close to 12l/100km in city and 8l/100km for combined in a 2.5l engine. @Nurey cuman lend me your car, u can see what the fuel scarcity is doing. |

akanniade10:Good Kia Rio is 1.4/1.6Ltr engine capacity. Though it could be better except that figure is with AC use |

salvo583: what you loose in economy, you gain in performance, not like mine which is only 90hp and struggles to keep up with confirm rides |

princemillla: Nissan is a Good car. I am also driving a 2000 toyota sienna, also a solid ride but not so good fuel economy. I can rugged 1000k fuel for a 100km or more journey on the Almera. My next portable economy car is the Nissan Sentra. |

City is different from city. City driving in Lagos is definitely different from city driving in Akure or Enugu. |

Not all Kia Rios will give you that figure though. It depends on the engine you carry in your hood. |
Re: 10litres Of Pms For Every 100km (city Driving) Would U Consider This High by salvo583: 7:24pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
nurey:That should be a nissan of old. 2002 upwards nissan's reliability is poor. The sentra 1.8 to 2.0l isnt as efficient in fuel compared to the corolla. |
Re: 10litres Of Pms For Every 100km (city Driving) Would U Consider This High by nurey(m): 7:40pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
princemillla: which one in particular. A guy bought a 2008 Nissan sentra in 2013/2014 for 1.8million naira clean low milleage. back then dollar to naira was in the 110 or so range |
Re: 10litres Of Pms For Every 100km (city Driving) Would U Consider This High by nurey(m): 7:52pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
salvo583: it isn't that old cause it started from 2000-2006, it was then stopped before it was started in 2011 till present again. Nissan's engine are great and solidly built than toyota, they just don't tolerate abuse. My Nissan is reliable if not, I won't be able to complete a stretch of 1000km plus journey at a go. besides the almera is same class with yaris not corolla. As for the sentra can't talk much on its reliablity or fuel efficiency but note that it has more engine variant than the corolla and built quality with design is superb than the corolla |

In my opinion, good fuel economy(city)usually starts from late teen figures for V6 engines and early to late 20s for an I4 engine. 10 litres/100km is about 23mpg,so that's very ok. |
