Yar’adua’s Government in a new Plot to Save Ibori's Mistress, Udoamaka Okoronkwo from British Law WRITTEN BY SAHARA REPORTERS, NEW YORK  Mrs. Udoamaka Okoronkwo(Nee Onuigbo) Umaru Yar’adua’s Attorney General, Michael Aondoakaa, and former Governor James Ibori of Delta State have perfected a plan they hope would spring Ibori’s mistress, Udoamaka Okoronkwo, from a British court where she awaits trial as an accomplice in money laundering. As part of the move, Aondoakaa has filed an extradition application for the woman. She has also hired a new firm of solicitors in England to press the case for a new bail allegedly to enable her to voluntarily return to Nigeria and stand trial. |

Fugitive Fraudster Enaboifo Becomes Executive Director of Nigeria-Sao-Tome Joint Venture Nigeria’s ailing president, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has appointed Emmanuel Olutokunbo Enaboifo as Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Nigeria-São Tomé & Principe Joint Development Authority. This is the body that manages the exceptionally rich area in oil and gas in the Joint Development Zone owned by both countries. Mr Enaboifo, a very close associate of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori is a fugitive from justice in the United States. [b]According to court papers made available to SaharaReporters, Mr Enaboifo was convicted of bank fraud in a US District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1986 on two counts of “Conspiracy to commit Bank fraud and Bank fraud –Aiding and Abetting.” Mr. Enaboifo who was then a student at Temple University in Philadelphia was arrested on August 8 1986 at 5702 North Oaks Boulevard, North Brunswick, New Jersey. He was then indicted and convicted by a federal grand jury, but he fled the United States before he could be sentenced. Does it mean that nobody is clean in Nigeria? Everybody seems to have dent either in Nigeria or abroad. Nigeria did not rout today so we should quit blaming the yahoo boys for spoiling our name as the name has gone bad before they were born. |
