Rotimi Amaechi's former Chief of Staff, Tony Okocha had secret meeting with his APC political associates in Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency, he aired his displeasure with how Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi handled pre-election dealings in Rivers State prior to the just concluded re-run polls. In his words;

  “We lost this election because Amaechi talks too much, Amaechi talks too much, l never liked his radio and TV ranting because he was just talking before thinking. He exposed our plans and brought the eyes of the whole world on Rivers State through his needless media noise. Even the money we asked them to give us for the election, he said the money would be given to us after the election because, we used the money he gave us for 2015 election to buy cars. What nonsense! He should have just released the money then remain in Abuja, instead of coming here to cause more problems for us.”

amaechi would soon be sacked by his masters, he was trying to impress them, but has made himself a laughing stock.

Honestly most of these candidates of Apc cud hsve had a better outing in this rerun if not for d garrulous and loquacious character of Amaechi. Prior to 2015 election, most Phc ppl knew Wike as just a wicked and highly ocultic personality but had to settle for him cos he was d only formidable counter-force against Amaechi. Fortunately for Wike, he quickly went into delivering democratic dividends to d populace on assumption of office such dat his personal cum moral status was of no significant again.
