Rivers Rerun: Violence, Killings Barbaric,

In a swift response to bashing he got on the social media for his prompt reaction to the Brussels twin terror attacks on Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari has said the killing of a youth corps member and others during the Rivers State rerun elections on Saturday are “barbaric and unacceptable”.

Speaking for the first time about the violence which marred the polls, Buhari in his tweet post via his Twitter handle @NGRPresident on Wednesday said he has ordered security agencies to deal decisively with those involved irrespective of their party affiliation.
The president also condoled with the families of the deseased.

The tweets reads, “My condolences to the families of all who lost their lives during the elections in Rivers at the weekend.”

“The violence in Rivers, and the tragic killings of Youth Corper Samuel Okonta and other victims, are barbaric & unacceptable.”

“I have given the security services clear directives to deal decisively with all agents of violence, regardless of party affiliation.”

This pa buhari is becoming too sluggish in acting these days. This wat many people saw in last administration and you've started it in your own Era too. This is Apc regime, we need proactiveness.

Amaechi and Co know that apc doesnt have ground in rivers state bt still, he still went ahead to force himself to do what he was nt supos to do as a Nigeria minister, becos he want to be relevant he went out of his way to add sort to the injury they already have in state which lead to the death of this people... pmb should question amaech first b4 any other person, becos what apc and their few members are doing in rivers state pdp will nt try it in any of d apc state, also pmb shouldnt expect pdp seat and watch apc intimidate them in any of the SS state, (allah it will nt happen)

So what happens tp barbaric Amaechi?

Or he is untouchable as he funded Buhari's election using funds looted from Rivers people.

Infact.... Buhari has no moral justification to fight corruption as he rode into on the wings of looted funds.

Yes, Fulani killing others is acceptable to the current president of our country.
What is not acceptable to him is the RETALIATORY killing of Fulani by their hosts and VICTIMS as he showed to Lam Adesina a few years ago.

At 73, he can be excused for being too slow. But when he knew all that the job entails and kept applying and begging for it with tears for 12 solid years, and then couldn't even get the basics of securing lives and properties which he swore with Al Qur'an right. This shows a wicked tyrant who will only respond to cane before he acts.

Nigerians are getting wiser and intolerant by the day... I fear for a Revolution.

Buhari shouldn't give a cause for that.

it shouldn't just stop at wailing, BaBa BuBu. The videos and pictures are there for you and your DSS. They should investigate and bring the culprits to book. That's the change you promised us.
