10 months of failure. It is not by force to be a president. This man is old and tired. He should just do the 4 years and go and rest wicked leaders.

Sai buhari.

They keep critiquing and he keeps shutting their mouths up.

Nigerians are many things, but Nigerians are not stupid.

So,for those thinking that the daily bashing of Buhari will not make him get into Aso Rock come 2019 are dreamers.

No corrupt Nigerian/PDP will ever see the gate of ASO let alone the Rock.

Wailers, now carefully scroll back and read his scorecard.

Please do not be in a hurry.

Take your time.

Sai Buhari.

If the rest of Nigerians can't stop Buhari from returning to Aso Rock in 2019, God can bolt him out like a flash of lightening. How can u and your likes keep justifying d misdeeds of this man even when it's clear majority of the masses are suffering? One thing God does for sure is that he listens to the cry of d poor and has a way of calling an erring ruler to order

Hmm do we call this a score card, rather a meeting to appeal to his party chieftains explaining y he hasn't kicked out some heads of agencies appointed by the last administration, also explaining y wike won in supreme court, y yahaha Bello also won in kogi( though he might b kicked out soon), success in TSA can't be measured now and the so called 3trillion saved should be more than that, also can't be a score card when power is dropping, Nigerians will have to queue to buy fuel and pay more till may, when there was still a bomb blast less that 2weeks ago in the north east, kidnappings still going on, lassa fever still much around( the Ministry killing info about it in the media, we only hear when one dies from it), I believe he should have at least waited till his first year as president b4 doing this...HIS SCORE CARD IS MEANT FOR ALL NIGERIANS NOT JUST APC

That 3trn supposedly saved via the TSA that president Buhari is always harping on is the liquidity in our banking system that made the economy fluid flexible and solvent, now that that money has been withdrawn and warehoused in CBN, it is not being used for anything, just warehoused, not adding value, not involved in production or manufacturing or agriculture, or infact in any economic activity, that is why the masses are complaining that everything is tight. Release the money into the economy via the banks and let it flow and circulate like life giving blood, circulating money is the lifeblood of any economy.

When there is economic squeeze in developed economies due to inadequate liquidity, governments step in to create liquidity by injecting credit into the economy through the banks by reducing interest rates, and reducing the minimum cash deposits the banks keep with the CBN etc

TSA is squeezing our economy to death.

Lol.

Don't mind this land of the blind where they are cheering themselves while walking backwards.

I say it with all sincerity that Buhari doesn't understand how the economy works. Not at all.
Borrow money during the hardest of times to inflate and expand government ?

Increase your spending by 50% , 30% of that to be borrowed in foreign currency , at a time when your revenues are down about 60% , and your currency falling over 50% ?

You shout diversification diversification, but you CHEAT non oil exporters by requiring to change their foreign currency earnings at more than 60% less than open Market ?
How does that make any sense ?

The group that contributes the most to the economy, $21 billion last year, Nigerians in the diaspora, yes, Nigerians in the diaspora, as single group, contribute the most to our economy.
Rather than doing everything to encourage them, you operate a money remittance system that SCAMS them by forcing the non-realistic official exchange rate upon them.

How does that make any sense ?

Buhari is a great tyrant. His achievement are as follows:

1. Incessant queues at every filling station in Nigeria.

2. Black out in every major city as electricity supply is near zero.

3. Fulani cattle rearers are on rampage with their AK 47

4. The great man himself has initiated an era of inconclusive election as INEC and DSS as well as EFCC are now departments in APC.

5. This is a wonderful president, most people will agree that there was need to invent intrepretDaura app; an android app that interprete Buhari's English to normal English.

6. The mileage of our presidential planes have been racked up, the man is a wonderful traveler. He has actually spent more time 13 kilometers in the air than he has spent in his office at Aso Villa.

Kudos to the ancient relic of yesterday. The incoruptible man whose wife wears 10m wristwatch she bought using money she got from her spa salon.

Great leader indeed, the messiah who santifies anyone who joins APC. The moment you are baptized into APC, your sins are washed away and you are no more "KWARAPT".

Maybe the agenda in the medium to long term is to force the economy into recession, borrow from IMF and agree to conditionalities that will make us slaves forever. I wonder the concessions Buhari agreed to before they made him president

PMB should not be quick in scoring himself. He should wait til almost the end of his administration.

I even find this scoring or whatever he calls it a slap on the face of nigerians, people are buying fuel for N140 per litre, amidst this, power supply is dropping and he is scoring himself Come on this is gross insensitive on his part.

And to think we have to endure this fuel scarcity till May is gut wrenching. People making money off the misery and suffering of nigerians and PMB is busy giving himself a report card. What nonsense!!!.

Some of what you call " misery and suffering of nigerians" is caused by attempts to fix the underlying problems. Let me give you two examples. Governments refusal to use reserves to defend the value of the naira have seen it fall by over 100 naira. This refusal to use reserves to defend our national appetite for imported products is fundamental to diversifying the economy by creating opportunity for local substitutes. Second the petrol scarcity. In the past petrol scarcity lasted for three weeks on average - this being the time it would take to bring in emergency imports that enriched a few. Instead the NNPC is producing and storing petrol from its two refineries in order to rebuild the national strategic reserves.

Everyone who loves this country knows that fundamental solution to its problems will call for short term inconveniences.

This is also good politics. Nigerians have short memories. If PMB breaks the bank to create unsustainable short term popularity. By the time elections come round those palliative measures would have been forgotten. It is better politically to allow short term suffering in exchange for a great 18 months to election economic improvement.

Give it to these guys, they know what they are doing.

What is wrong in presenting an assessment of what he has done till date? So, do schools and sit till the end of 4 years or 5 years, depending on the course, to grade the students or is it not done every semester, twice per year in which a GPA and CGPA is computed? Is every semester result not based on several assessments of tests, assignments, projects, presentations, etc. If you cannot free your mind from being a wailer, at least you can keep quiet and sit down!
Please when comparing, make sure the basis of comparing two things is very much the same.

Hmmm...

Where was d 3trn when d past administration was borrowing to pay salaries? No oil income, yet this present fg is yet to borrow to pay salaries.

These funds have been with d banks since time immemorial, yet where are d investments in sectors of d economy apart from oil?

No oil income, yet we could amass 3trn within a year! Can u calculate how much has disappeared over d years, due to fake vouchers n non-existent projects?

Without d tsa, those banks were sitting on d funds n prefer to lend it back to govt, buy govt bonds or treasury bills, instead of investing in d economy. The cbn just revised it policy, 'cos d banks where not doing anything with d excess liquidity, prefering to invest in govt securities.

When you invest in govt securities, the money is recirculated, importers can import, manufactures can borrow, importers can open and access credits facilities, the economy moves.

With TSA, the money is dormant, losing value, not involved in any productive activity. It is only a matter of time before Nigeria hits recession

Mr Economist, ur theory gave me a migraine.

Though, I read engineering, I realise that govt selling securities is a method of moping up liquidity, how is that now transfered to importers or manufacturers, when d banks refuse to extend credit facilities to them?

Do u realise d cbn recently(this week) had to revise it policy because d banks were refusing, inspite of inducements, to lend to d real sector? The cbn, to counter d effects of tsa, allowed d banks excess liquidity, reduced interest rates yet these same banks continued to sit on those funds n wait for govt securities!

Nigerians are bad debtors with unfavourable investment conditions(power, roads, raw materials, bureaucracy), so d banks prefer govt securities to d real sector.

The cbn guv, ministers(agric n trade), BOI, BOA have all been complaining of banks refusal to lend to agriculture, exports and local production.

when you employed your sons and daughters into lucrative positions to the detriment of the citizens, that is the worst form of corruption because they will enjoy salaries and other benefits for life while you ask the children of the poor to go into agriculture
