President Muhammadu Buhari has once again replied critics of his administration.
Speaking on Thursday at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, the president replied those who said his adminstration has done little or nothing since assumption of office in May.
The president urged Nigerians to be patient as his administration works towards. “I know we are being harassed since the election that they haven’t seen anything on the ground,” the President said.
“Well, if you have any explanation that could be accepted, it is that we have three more years to go.”
The president urged Nigerian not to look at the failures of the People’s Democratic party in the last 16 years.
He also promised to resolve and tackle insecurity, strengthen the electrical process and improve the economy.President Buhari has had to face various criticism since assuming office in May with many calling him baba-go-slow for delaying the list of ministerial nominees.
His administration has also been called out for what some see as witch-hunting the opposing PDP by levying corruption charges against its members.
The former military head of state has also been criticised for his numerous travels at different times in his adminstration though firm supporters believe he has been working hard to restore Nigeria’s reputation in other countries.
