The ansaruddeen muslim society of Nigeria south west branch hold one of his numerous conference prayer and award program on 25th to 28th of the month of March in attendance was the governor of ekiti state Mr ayodele fayose peter and prominent Muslim leader and scholars.
The program which kick off on Friday afternoon run late till Monday morning and was filled with prayer for the country and award to outstanding Muslim with different agendas.on Saturday 26 March the governor was present and a prominent Muslim preacher and scholar Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello (Learned Fearless,outspoken and Blunt to the core ) Was asked to pray for the governor,after concluding his prayer he gave the governor a piece of advice to watch his outburst that he is a leader and the number one citizen in his states need to caution the way he talks.
The advice did not seat well with the governor and in exchange the governor lambast the preacher with abusive words openly,the sheikh would have reply him but his mic was cut off and elders seating had to intervene and beg him.the sheikh ask the governor to meet him after some couple of month later.the governor refuse to leave the venue after several appeals from elder since the governor was through with his role.after about three hours of distorting the program the governor finally took his leave.the program which came to an end on Monday morning as the sheikh present till Sunday evening.
All attempts to interview the sheikh on the matter prove abortive but Mr lere olayinka the special assistant to the governor on media who we were able to get to at a venue on Sunday comment that the sheikh deserves what he got.we keep you update as more drama unfolds the governor was known for his outburst and mannerless but don't you think he drag it far.
