As seen on CNN. Yahoo not having it easy. It is being reported that Microsoft is in early talks with private equity firms in a bid to purchase Yahoo. Reports suggest discussions are at a preliminary stage at this point. Yahoo has been attempting to sell off its search, mail and news sites for some time, as its seen massive profit declines in recent years. Back in 2008, Microsoft tried unsuccessfully to buy Yahoo for around 45 billion US dollars. http://english.cri.cn/12394/2016/03/28/3684s922157.htm

If true then its all for the better. Their email service is riddled with spam, Microsoft should ensure to clean up the system because I receive at least 10 spam mails daily. |
