Where Is The $2.3bn Fund U.S Remitted To Buhari To Help Fight Poverty? by Nobody: 3:55pm On Mar 29, 2016
There was a news on October 05, 2015 last year insinuating that the US will fund Buhari's govt with the copious sum of $2.3bn to help curtail poverty, and help minimize the impoverish state of the country.

Albeit, I haven't been able ascertain when the funds were dispatched to the government.

But it will be logical to deduce that the government have received the fundings because of the long duration existing between the date of the agreement and heavily substantiated by this statement from Osinbajo in the news:
“The $2.3bn assistance will cover activities from 2015 through 2020, with the objective of helping Nigeria reduce extreme poverty in a more stable and democratic society
.
And the fact that we don't anticipate the US to renege on such promise and breach the agreement.

So where is the fund and what was it used for since there is no economic improvement?.

Yes, the govt must not defalcate the funds designated for the development of this country, they must be held accountable!

But Op hw do you know d US didn't renege on this pledge? There's no evidence that they have fulfilled it, you r jus using "deductive' thinking...

What I expect from you, is to ask questions to know for a fact if the US government have or have not disbursed the fund.

Buhari ur 1 year is counting shao

The govt informed us when the promise was made, and the govt should be able to inform us if the US failed to keep to it.

Besides, it is a Signed agreement between nations. It will be so ludicrous for the US to breach the agreement.

So, because you don't expect US to fail in fulfilling the promise has automatically lead you to conclude the money has been paid?

And did you see where it's stated the money is to cover up to 2020? If that be the case, you should know that such grant is released piecemeal and not once.

Anyway, I don't expect wailing zombies to reason differently.

So u r saying the Nigerian govt shud kick up dust if they have not fulfilled the promise?

So wailers will still come out and say "buhari is a Dullard, almajiri, beggar.."
I dnt think that kind of money can be hidden from the public for too long, if truly it has been received..

This is the time to start asking the right questions and holding government accountable. The level of secret corruption ongoing in this administration is mind blowing. we shall nolonger wait till they leave power before holding them responsible. This is the change and every free citizen is duty bound to uphold this.

Baseless!

it was stated as ““The $2.3bn assistance will cover activities from 2015”.

that word “from” indicates the money was either totally remitted in 2015 or was there is a gradual remittance that commenced from 2015.

lets presume it is a gradual remittance, why are we not seeing or experiencing its gradual utilization in Nigeria? why is the economy retrogressing instead of progressing?

we must wake up from sleep and demand for judicious use of public funds!

We should not be deluded by the scheme of “fighting corruption” while corrupt practises continue to prevail under the same govt.

Lalasticlala, why is this thread foiled from being featured on Frontpage for Nigerians to see and hold the govt accountable.

It portrays substantiations that the fund is either fully disbursed or gradually disbursed to the govt. we need accountability on what it was used for embarassed .
