If you judge him as a DM, I agree.

He has not too good positional sense nor anchor man discipline.

But so also do Kovacic. One of the best CMs in the league.

McTominay plays better than loads of CM in the league.

Bailey is not treated well at United because of that junkie McGuire

That is the main reason the Ivorian is pushing to leave

Currently varane and Bailey is suppose to be United’s cb pair

I never said they are alike, mate. I juxtaposed his weakness with another CM to show it isn't unique.

Kovacic is elite, Mctominay is still potential.

But compare his stats with a CM like Tielemans who United fans have been seducing and flirting with for years and you'll understand how good he has been despite being deployed in a deeper role.

He actually did make some valid points. Dennis was an inconsistent player at the time he made that post.

He wouldn't buy a player who only turns up for big games. His performance against Madrid was a fluke, washing the lad down as though his efforts were nothing. Well, it's a good thing Watford FC never thought same else he'd still be at Belgium, while Danjuma who he was better than at club brugge would continue to get better deals.

The problem with Komekn is his short-sightedness. From the first time I watched Dennis At Ukraine with Zorya, I knew already that he was destined for bigger things. He was also taking in them numbers in Belgium.

physically and athletism is overrated in modern football.
passing, dribbling, intelligence and creativity are VERY VERY IMpORTANT in midfield play.
if strenght was so important, dickson etuhu will be the best player in the world.
Is Jorginho that strong.
Modern football is confusint itself
A player that cannot pass is a liability in football.
Come to think of it, football is about passing and creating space for your players to move
When a team cannot string two or three passes together withoiut loosing the ball, they are reduced to defending
and running all day.
players like nwakali are very very important.
This is what guardiola said

I dont play for tackles, what is tackles

No, nwakali is very relevant for modern football.
Again, passing and knowing what to do with the ball are basic to football.
I dont agree with you at all

that one concern you and your opinion but not to coaches of this generation

As a midfielder in this age in time baba if you no get, agility, work rate and pace forget it. Others you mentioned are just secondary

The reason a less talented alhassan Yusuf is already doing well in Europe than a more talented, skillful but lazy nwakali cheesy

I understand where you're driving at brother, but I still reiterate that K didn't say anything wrong about Dennis.

When he made those posts in 2020, all of us, or majority, viewed Dennis as a fluke who was living off his brace at the Bernabeu.

Few months later, Koln board vindicated this by coming out to say Dennis was a mistake and one of their worst signing.

Another few months later, Club Brugge themselves lost hope in Dennis when they sold him for over 20M less than their initial value.
This is why majority on this thread were shocked that he could secure a move to the EPL.
If you call that short-sightedness, then you should also term all those that thought Nwakali will be a top player by now the same.

Or tag those like me who believed Onyekuru would be giving Rohr headache by now.

Just like circumstances affected these players in a negative way, it also did for Dennis in a positive way.

He is now the shadow of his Koln days, similar to Jesse Lingard who is now a top player after being a flop for years.

Where I have problem with K is that he condemns players even when they are doing well. But the fact that he has now changed his opinion about Dennis showed he has seen this growth.

I think you're prejudicing him, brother.

Emmanuel Dennis has been included in Whoscored.com's Premier League Team of the Month following his excellent performances for Watford in November 2021.

The Nigeria international started all the three matches played by the Hornets in the top-flight last month, logging 235 minutes combined against Arsenal, Manchester United and Leicester City.

Dennis finished November with a goal involvement of four, striking against Manchester United and Leicester City while producing two assists in a 4-1 win over the Red Devils.

Liverpool and Manchester City have contributed three players each to the Team of the Month, while Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford have one representative each.

In a 4-4-2 formation, Dennis has been deployed as the left-sided midfielder and Liverpool's Egypt star Mohamed Salah occupied the right flank.

The 24-year-old earned an average rating of 7.6 for November.

A summer signing from Club Brugge, Dennis has participated in 11 goals in the Premier League so far this season - a figure that is bettered only by Mohamed Salah (21).

Dennis has really shocked everyone this season and I didn’t even know that he was this good. For example, lookman an “English reject” that some of you guys were salivating over scored 4 goals in the entire last season while Dennis already has 6 goals and 5 assists. Even iwobi has never had such stats in his entire time at epl… this is a lesson to the likes of Isaac success, iwobi that it isn’t late to rejuvenate

Bro if I tell you I'm still keen on Lookman, then, I am a big liar. There is nothing really special about that boy. He has done nothing in over 3 seasons now.

I use to be crazy about these foreign born players, but over time, they have proven to be nothing but a flash in the pan. They always flatter to deceive. They never last on the stage after making that bursts that brings hypes
