Oga, why do you always make comments like these?

That's how the other time you magnified Cameroon so tey you became a Cameroonian fan at a point.
So because Nwakali and Azubuike are not in this team your own World Cup has come and gone.

Well, for me the World Cup party is just about to start. I have placed order for my jersey already. I have my collection of Green and White Super Eagles Survenoirs. I am placing them on my dash board like I always do during major competitions.

The World Cup party takes place only once in 4 years and I would not let one or two players that were not selected spoil my fun.

Roll the drums Jare...........the mundial is upon us again....

I still dey wait for NIKE to release the jersey o!!..

I clearly saw Ebuehi clutching to the back of his thigh and knee in pains, tried shaken it off by stretching of his leg while holding his toes and someone here is saying there ain't no hamstring scare? Ppl funny sha

It'd be a miracle if scans say it was a mere cramp, else I'm sorry Tyrone wouldn't be making it to the world Cup. Really painful

Joel Obi is crap!.. I repeat, Joel Obi is CRAP!!!

Its been 3 matches and he hasn't made a statement yet.. No successful forward dribbles yet, No defense splitting pass yet, No direct shot on target, No commanding presence in the middle.. All puffing and huffing... SMH angry

Ogu will and have done better than what Joel Obi has done. Ogu brings a calming presence, Ogu can shoot from a great distance and with Accuracy too.. That's the difference between them. Ogu is grossly underrated in this team. Nobody seem to be sold on him.

You can't have Ogu in your middle and won't see 2-3 shots from the middle in a game. You can't have Ogu in your middle and not see 2-3 driving runs in a match. He has done that consistently right from 2013 Against South Africa and Mexico, sadly he missed 2014 world cup. But he did it again against Algeria and Argentina last year.

Anyways i am certain that Rohr will take him to Russia and together with others, they will shine. But Joel should be dropped ASAP. He is currently surplus to our requirements

Drop analyst now? na.. not ready to type in vain.. maybe when the noisemakers go to bed or leave. it's getting annoying, the good analysis are getting lost in the noises.

Enough said

Saying i don't have comments to drop says alot about your intention, guess what girl? not in the mood to engage you in the usual stuff you thrive in.

safarigirl:
na so you come here come analyse the analysts.

You, can't you drop your own analysis of the game? Leave people to comment on their own observations about the game, you comment on yours if you have any. You obviously don't undecided

You can tell a serious injury from the look on a player's face. Did you see the carvajal and Salah reaction? Ebuehi's face looked very calm.

Cramp is simply contraction of the muscles so a person with cramp will also hold where the muscles contracted. Also, he held his toes suggesting it was just cramp.

the way they are talking of the injury, pesin wey no watch am go think say the boy been dey cry, roll for ground.

Ebuehi barely seemed bothered by the injury and a player would KNOW if he had a World Cup-threatening injury. Mans did not even look dejected after the game, he had a slight limp to his walk, but I would be limping for thirty minutes if I got a cramp, so, why should it be exaggerated like this?

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Benfica new signing Tyronne Ebuehi will be assessed by Super Eagles medics after picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw with Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday evening.

Shortly after Ebuehi was substituted, a worried Gernot Rohr requested to know about the extent of his injury and the right-back has claimed he was only suffering from cramps and it's nothing serious.

The 22-year-old made his home debut against the Leopards and was one of the most impressive players on parade for the Super Eagles before he hobbled off the pitch in the 76th minute.

He was seen as a serious contender for the right-back spot but had struggled with groin complaints before he reported for international duty.

It is all but confirmed that Gent winger Moses Simon will not attend the 2018 World Cup after suffering an injury in training, while Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi faces a race against time to be fully fit for the tournament.

Former Mainz defender Leon Balogun, who had been lacking match fitness before his trip to Uyo, came through today's game unscathed.

When Ekong scored how many people showed their excitement? Some of us here are not here to cheer the team as long as the selection doesn’t favor them. Yes we had a bad game as a unit, but these are some good things we can take away from it:

1. Lokosa made the local league look good
2. Simy was unplayable. Some of his challenges were fair but the ref blew against his physical superiority. His pressing game was top notch considering his frame. Etebo should have scored. Simy hit the bar and had a great back header effort which hit target. He brings something different and special to our attack.
3. Musa’s form is something to be excited about.
4. We were fortunate to make a move on Ebuehi. He will come handy for us at the Mundial and many years after.
5. Some players just made Rohr’s job easier

Oh u can tell the severity of an injury by mere looking at a player's face? Chai tbaba1234 most of us played this game kwanu, serious muscles cramps are more painful than the worst hamstrings. It's only lesser bkus it heels in hours while hamstrings take months. The look on his face tells little to nothing about the severity or kinda injury he copped

If you are a footballer, You know the difference when you have a cramp and when you pulled your hamstring. With Cramp, your muscles will stiffen up. It is not the same as a hamstring injury.

A player who just pulled his hamstring will know.

Babe relax.....the connectivity of the midfield with the attack is serious lacking whenever mikel is off pitch....
playing etebo there is like have 10 players on the pitch....he barely give a thorough pass upfront.... so what's the need?
though it is a bit late now...I have always harp on the need to include that lad on the 30-35 man list...because of his good passing accuracy nd vision upfront.

so I still believe him in being in that team far better than having the likes of Agbo and co.
too many DMs in this team.

Exactly what I have been screaming about since... We have too many dormant, unproductive and ineffective DMs in these present team. They need to be shown the way out. Its not rocket science. We lack creativity going forward.

Our problem is not Goalkeeper, its not Defense, its not Attack... Our problem is the Midfield. The midfielders are not linking well with our attack. We just can't seem to score from open play anymore.

Something drastic have to be done. My suggestion is to ship 4 of these guys out

Agbo
Joel Obi
Agu
Etebo

Going to the world Cup, my midfielders are

John Mikel Obi
Iwobi
Ndidi
Onazi
John Ogu

Then after the world cup, we bring in

Kelechi Nwakali
Ebele Eze

V. Moses can even be listed as a Midfielder so that Lakossa can make the 23 as one of the forwards

.................

My Russia 23

Uzoho (he is doing very well)
Ezenwa
Ajiboye

Ekong
Balogun
Awaziem
Omeruoh
Shehu
Ebuehi
Echiejile
Idowu

Mikel Obi
Iwobi
Etebo
Ndidi
Onazi
John Ogu

Iheanacho
Ighalo
Musa
Simy
Lakossa
V. Moses

Etebo wasn’t bad. He took our indirect free kicks at the laters stages and delivered well. But they were times he was found wanting. He could have made a stronger case to be taken to London if he had executed a long range shot to an open net (the keeper had come of his lines). I will give him a 5/10. But he could have done better.

Joel Obi played pretty well in the first half.
