I don't want to talk again outside 30 man list again but Rohr need to mange this team especially midfield.

What happened to Brazil against Germany would be a child play cos the team was exposed due to players with similar style of play (Fernadinho,Paulinho,Ramirez,Gustavo) in the midfield and with players like Onazi, Etebo,Agu,Joel, and Ogu am foreseeing issues if not managed tactically.

It's apparent that without Mikel the team will keep on struggling.Hope Rohr will do the needful tactically.

With the available players, Rohr can can only hope to play a pragmatic style of football like Simione's Athletico. The raft of defensive midfielders makes it impossible to impose a possession style of football on this team.
I expect to see them defend deep and get as quickly as they can to the opposition's box with long balls and quick combinations. The method will need hard runners on the wings and a striker with good hold up play. Creating chances from dead balls will also be key.

That is why mikel obi is really important with his long range pass, onazi tried it yesterday but i wasn't feeling it.
This team would go into world cup to try to absorb pressure and break with a counter attack but i doubt if this team can really absorb lot of pressure because yesterday they all got tired fast.

I would love someone to do a comparison . ANS, OGN also did their ratings.
Almost similar but OGN rating cool cos they gave Iheanacho 4/10,Joel 4/10,and Echiejile 4/10 but completesports Iheanacho 6/10 ,Joel 5/10 ,Echiejile 5/10.

Name the super eagles players that being invited has given him a club ? Na so Brazil and others national team dey do abi ?

Even after last World Cup how many super eagles players get a new club ?

What about the 2013 confederation cup ? No b caykur rizespor offer oboabona see ? What of egwuekwe? Na South Africa league he end up? A 35 caps super eagles player for that matter.

If nwakali get one bad game na una go still make noise.

Joel obi is a fan favorite but people has been calling for him to be dropped already

I will just fold my hands and watch

Too much long story and false accusations to deflect a simple point. We can not fold our arms and wait until clubs do our players favors. We need to contribute to help expose our potential players.

I feel like when some of these sites rate Iheanacho, they do it with his past performances in mind

Players i will drop

Agbo (simply have not seen him)
Joel Obi (has been unable to show his Serie A form for Nigeria after 3 games)
Simon Moses (Injury)
Akpeyi (Rohr will drop Ajiboye though)
Lokosa (Did himself a lot of credit, we should see him again post WC but with Ighalo and Simy as CFs, i do not see the space for him in the 23)
Elderson (could have received a red today, he is coming to the end of his international career. He has been a good servant)
Stephen Eze ( The fact that we did not see him suggests that he will be dropped)

Correct!

victim card?? I'm i Onazi??

you just sit in the comfort of your home and type what ever you feel, "Onazi was wack"
Youre playing it here. unless you don't know what it means. you are, on behalf of Onazi!!!

If he is our best, why can't I criticize him when he doesn't look ready fitness wise? He was just off in the middle. that's wack. what other soft term, or rather, hard term dyu want me to use for his performance yesternight?

It's a few weeks to the world cup, and you either play safe or you risk it, but not by looking unfit atall.

Maybe you don't understand it..... I'm one of those that wants him at the world cup and to outperform his last match versus France. And I'd want his alertness and fitness to be complete so no such excuse next time.

My 23 will be:

Gks: Uzoho, Ajiboye, Ezenwa

Defenders: Ebuehi, Shehu, Awaziem, Omeruo, Ekong, Balogun, Idowu, and Aina.

Midfielders: Mikel Obi, Etebo, Onazi, Ndidi, Iwobi, John Ogu.

Attackers: V.Moses, Ighalo, Musa, S. Nwankwo, Iheanacho, Lokosa.
Yes, Lokosa will put up a decent performance against the English and that will propel him into the final squad
You're very right to include both Simy and Lokosa to the final list because of Simon's absence. They both worth it.

maybe you just joined us few months ago, so, you are unfamiliar with how things are here.

We have gone through three or so threads as a group, we have been together since October 2013, October of this year will make it five years, since the originators of this thread came together. Do you know how many 'noisemakers' we have entertained in that period? Well, they are certainly more than the amount of posts you have on this thread and yet, we always have space for them.

Noisemakers are a necessary part of this thread, in their own way, they contribute to the thread. They talk, they drag the team down, they predict the usual doom and gloom, but we who have five years experience with them, respond as much as we can and then ignore, because, dem no dey last. They will eventually fizzle out, but their opinions matter, because sometimes, they have valid points even in all of that pessimism

Don't disrespect people's opinions. To some of us here, you are also a noisemaker, but you don't see anyone throwing your opinion in the bin grin

Hope to see your analysis by morning. G'night

Hope you checked when this moniker was registered?
Before this was a 2007 moniker, won't say more than that.

As for my analysis, will do when i rewatch for clarity sake.

If you stand by the sidelines and I or other thought leaders stand by the sidelines and allow the invaders rule supreme this thread will lose its essence.

It's football season. Don't think they'd go away. Better give us the benefit of your quality opinions than wait for the invaders to go away.

We need all the regulars Bro

Entertaining and standing against it are 2 different things.

Let's see who is reading meaning actually.

My worry is that this style of play requires experience but we are going to the tournament with the youngest team. Onazi has added alot of pounds, this has greatly affected his mobility. Rohr should put him on special training if he insists Onazi must play.

he gave Nwakaeme a chance, 75 minutes of it. He gave Kayode a chance, at least twenty minutes of it.

It took Simy 11 minutes to show what he's made of. Rohr realizes he hasn't seen a striker that was so threatening, many fans agree with him, so, he certainly cannot be wrong

Why do you like to dey lie, hmm?

Which chance did he give Kayode?

That's exactly where my fear lies. All a good team requires, is to "do a Ramos" on Mikel, just like France did same on Onazi last time out
