He is an average player to be honest, man. At least for now, if he remains in Brugge, he should improve.

The player I saw against Man U was not average. His team was but he surely wasn't.

Perspectives are supposed to differ. I have an idea, it just doesn't align with yours.

To talk about something or even have a perspective on the subject, you should have experienced it, lived it and seen it, that would be participative knowledge.

But you absolutely do not have one iota of experience or knowledge.

I may email it to you, but it is a lengthy discussion and I would rather not start it on this thread.

Ok looking forward to that.

Billing must not want to play for us. Billing has the right to pledge his allegiance where he wants to but a shred of politeness will go a long way.

Taking effort to point that he has no link to Nigeria is totally demeaning. Trying to make it look like his siblings are not Nigerians is not because he is ignorant to the fact that he is Nigerian (Dual Nationality), but a display of his eagerness to disassociate himself from his roots.

*It is nice, the assumption that I want to play for Nigeria but my eyes has always been set on Denmark and it has not changed." Will anyone shoot him if he made such comment?

Telling us the only thing Nigerian about him is his father is terrible attitude from him. Paints himself in a poor light. Definitely a rude guy.

Then this is the last time he has to answer whether he wants to play for Nigeria. I don't blame him. If not someone like Pinnick who has no pride in respecting what you have and only thing good is foreign, will there even be a first time whether Billing wants to play for us?

Allow me to plot my return from Finland in peace.

In reality you are still judging him by set of standards thar you have set.

The problem is a quite obviously MISSING NIGERIA FATHER in his life.

I will tell you a true story.

Mixed race lady came to me sometime ago. She was about thirty had never seen her father since she was 3 years old had no memory of him.

She gave me detail, he use to work for the then NNSL and had lived in Liverpool. Look story cut short l trace the guy to Lagos. Gave her all the details.

She calls him, the first he says is " my daughter now that you have found me, I need you to send me some ££££.

Girl was even more traumatized no attempt to explain years lost and comfort her, etc, just send money. She never talked to him again.

There are more stories like this.

The Billing paternity matter no dey clear fully to me. But we can deduce he has little or no Nigerian experience. Even at that he did not say anything denigrating about Nigeria than showing his 100% commitment to Denmark.

Modified
Someone is addressing unfounded rumors and thegoodjoe is expecting him to say sweet things about Nigeria. Completely blind to the situation on ground.

This is a ridiculous assertion.

There are marriage counsellors that aren't married, would you say they can never talk about marriage because they haven't lived and experienced it?

I am telling you what I think based on what I have seen from abroad people, I am not talking solely about your London, or do you think London is the only abroad in the world? Do you know all the diasporans abroad? Or do you think that the rest of us in Nigeria don't have people who live abroad enough to have perspectives of abroad?

Na you fall my hand with this sort of talk. You only need to have seen things to know it can happen.

My dad's only sister lives in Canada, I have relatives abroad, plenty, I watch Youtube videos, I see perspectives. The World is a flipping global village, do you know what that means? It means you know of the world, it means you can travel and experience people's cultures and traditions from the comfort of your home. You can share their experiences. Do you know that?

You have just displayed a very disgusting attitude that I accused diasporans of; assuming the rest of us that are not in your abroad know nothing of your abroad and cannot speak on it, but you can talk about Nigeria based on what your relatives and friends tell you. You can talk of Nigeria based on what you read on Nairaland, and the occasional one month in a year that you visit your village or Lagos, if you have recently, but we should not have ideas of abroad.

You don fall my hand big time. You are not the only person that lives abroad I know, so, don't tell me about experience, because even you, cannot speak about the experience of a lot of Nigerians abroad. You cannot.

Better drop your shoulder here, forget your handd.

First, Billing is a Dane. Can we all keep the rule that he shouldn’t be mentioned here? The answer is no, beacaise the issue really is who mentions the name, Billing, and as long as it’s not me, it’s okay. I promise you I won’t be the first to bring his name up here when the league resumes. grin
If we can mention Anthony Joshua and be proud of his achievements why not anyone with some Nigerian blood albeit diluted. Personally once someone has Nigerian blood flowing through them I will celebrate them. That's why I will always be proud of joshua, John boyega, oyelowo, giannis, seal, sade adu etc. Joe carry on jare!!!!!

With regards to the general statements you are making on corruption. You are being bigoted.

Just living in London even without being Nigerian you can easily have a Nigerian experience and even identify with Nigeria.

Living in Denmark is completely different.

You can have a very whimsical one yes everyone is entitled to an opinion.

But then what's your opinion based on

Imagine a white female from Sweden giving a very strong overriding generalist opinionated negative deduction on Nigeria men.

But she has met a few Nigerian men, but never lived in Nigeria but has concluded very strongly in the negative.

What would you call that.

You made a widescale all encompassing negative presumptive deduction. About all Nigerians in the Diaspora.

Based on what, YouTube, a few relatives, friends, etc. Not personal first hand experience just self birthed prejudice.

Your deduction is not singular, or subject and or location specific. Just everything and anything.

A deduction that includes me.

There are a thousand and one different types of Nigerian living abroad. Abroad could means hundred of different countries.

Germany is different from China, just as Canada is very different from Singapore.

But you put everything and everyone in the same boat. I then challenged you on such a rash impulsive deduction.

How can anybody make such a all encompassing negative presumptive deduction covering so many dramatically different places and people and attempt to rationalise it.

You are simply wrong accept it.

I made an observation based on perspective, my perspective is based on my experience. I hope you can understand that people don't have the same experiences and I hope you understand that you don't have to live abroad to have a perception of the people there, you only need to interact with them.

You identified with it. It may not apply to everyone, but it applies to a lot, and it applied to you in particular, that is why you are trying so hard to defend yourself. At best, I will retract the generality of the statement, and say a lot of diaspora Nigerians are like that, including you.

It behoves on you to change my perception, not to argue it out, but show by your actions. You have not covered Diaspora Nigerians in glory on this thread, you are a representation of the person I painted. I am not wrong, but you cannot agree with me, because you are the person I speak of.

Once again, reduce your shoulder. Your experience and perception does not and will not invalidate mine.

Yes all you said is possible. But I’m going by what we know for sure. He didn’t bad mouth Nigeria in the past. Neither did he this time. He identified with his Nigerian roots and did not deny he is half Nigerian. The only contentious thing is “100% Danish” which was most likely due to a translation issue.

Mod
An old quote:

“I am half Nigerian and I feel that way too, but I was born and raised in Denmark. My mother is Danish and my sister is Danish, so it would feel strange to have to play for Nigeria.”

I think u got me wrong there. I am addressing my own reason for celebrating people with some nigerian blood flowing through them. For me once that individual has some Nigerian blood, I would be proud of them. Am not judging billings or Joshua who both represent other countries not Nigeria. Even akeem olajuwon who was born and bred in 9ja hasn't really associated himself with Nigeria but I as a person am proud of his achievements.
