This is FIFA stipulated rule 2023 (pdf)
About protest and ineligible player
About protest and ineligible player[/quote]On this 24hr stuff
From the thing here it says on protests
1. clubs and association not country
2. It says during a competitor and this is a qualifier not competition
For fielding ineligible player
1. It says FIFA can act ex officio
Do with this whatever you please..

The guy I responded to mention Iwobi stats in the epl and I said Can we see more in the national team? and I went on to say we can’t continue to blame the coach alone and not ask questions on our players (plural o) your problem is hearing Iwobi name made you concluded I singled him out and it’s what you guys do here so we should demand more from others and not Iwobi Abi? We all complained of our midfield but we shouldn’t mention names, omo you guys are biased.

The guy na Obotte. On an international station TVC. He's talking rubbish.

Instead of using past scenario to paint a picture of why it should be done.

Instead of appealing to emotions internationally by saying Lesotho being neighbours to RSA may have affected their decision not to protest within 24hrs and afterwards.

Instead of saying why rule should be enforced by the umpire, he's talking about protest.

Last year Equatorial Guinea was punished without a protest. Was the rule created this year?

Nonsensical unpatriotic deluded Nigerian.

He showed that and even more in the last game, no be like say he no dey even do am before, Nigerians no just rate am.

The games he was on the bench against Rwanda in the AFCON qualifiers, we drew one goalless-ly and lost one. Attack looked dead, no passes, no chances creation.

In fact, our equalizer against South Africa in Uyo last year was his assist.

Iwobi is not lackadaisical.
Do you know how many tackles and recoveries Iwobi made against Rwanda from my eye test.
Iwobi made a goal line clearance.

Iwobi's primary role in midfield is not a defensive role, even if it is.
You need a trained eye to assess a player's involvements. A player may not rush into duels, but has a way of blocking passing channels.
Some players needs to be be free sometimes in order to receive passes depending on the team's structure and tactics of the day.
For the first time, I wholeheartedly agree with something you said. Take your flowers 🌹 before I go give girl 😏

Try play a suspended player against North Africans you, then you come and make excuses of 24 hours or that they did not tell you that your player had “two yellow cards”

Try it.
Leave them na.

Morocco in the Olympics conceded an offside goal against Argentina to turn their win to a draw in the last minute. ASAP they lodge complaint say them no go gree, the match was resumed three hours later, goal canceled and last three minutes replayed without spectators in the stadium again, and they won the game.

Like my respect for the Moroccan FA just tripled that day! Likeeeeeee, they forced a finished match to be replayed o.

Thanks bruv for your mature reply, our midfield too Dey play sideways and it’s becoming annoying especially in the last game we had chances to go thru the middle which would have won us more free kicks or penalties perhaps our boys Dey fear injury. I think Iwobi needs to exploit that more, the one he did he almost got a goal thru that shot on target that the keeper tipped over the bar cos at the end na output and results matter o and no one will argue. He takes these initiatives well at Fulham so why not in the national team, that’s not a very big ask in my opinion. He’s a senior player and he can stamp his authority in the team. I watched an interview with aiyegbeni he said if he plays in this current team he can’t score cos no supply from the midfield he said when he was at Everton Steve pienarr always tell him where to position for him to feed him to score abeg Iwobi needs to take a cue from that. Our midfield needs to upgrade! It looks flat, so called small african teams can’t be running rings around our midfield with the players we have on there, someone needs to lead and that’s my expectations from Iwobi.

Moses played so well against Rwanda and to be specific, everytime he was with the ball, 2 players were always on him and the goal was as a result of him drawing 2 players to himself creating the gap onyemachi ran into for the layoff from tolu.
Moses is a silent achiever dedicated to the national team and always available, he might have his down days but his defensive ability also helps the team.
There goes the real problem of the super eagles. We got figured out long ago. Anytime you see Moses Simon in the starting line up, opponents already know that all balls will be routed through the left side. Inverted winger that will always want to do take ons. End product , no comment.
We cant even afford to switch up play as all we have ever been used to is to route balls to Simon. Another issue is Simon and poor decision making. In his mind he believes he can dribble everybody and then go and score. In effect, he dribbles himself into cul de sac. Ends up losing possession 9 out of 10 times. I have always said this but it looks like the bar has really gone down for the Super Eagles

Where una dey manufacture all this stories from na?

It was VAR that cancelled the goal. However, the fan disruption that happened immediately after that goal caused the match to be suspended till all the fans were removed. The fans did not even allow the goal to be checked before they started throwing things and entering the pitch. I watched that game FYI

FIFA will never allow a finished game to replayed because of wrong officiating. It never happens.

I get you, but another thing to note is that Iwobi plays more from the wings than the middle, maybe Uche can give us that thing you're talking about, but one thing I'm sure of is that no matter where Iwobi plays from, as long as it's an attacking position, sweet passes dey always find strikers, it's what they do with it at the end that matters.

Look at the through pass Iwobi gave to Dessers two days ago, too clean, but Dessers sent a tame shot to the keeper.

Even our game against Zimbabwe, Iwobi should've had like three assists in that game if not for missed chances from our forwards. No one has his vision in that team, make them leave dribbling for Chukwueze and Uche, but sexy penetration passes and intelligent shadow marking and pressing, leave am for Iwobi.

If not that our left wing is choked, I would've even loved him to play there. Almost all his goals and assists for Fulham too, 80% of them are from the left flank and not the middle, including his assist against Manchester United this season.

After the interference by the Moroccan FA, the final minutes of the game was played and the referee's decision overturned by VAR, even my ticket wey don green turn red back.

Very Apt, that’s why he keeps drifting towards the wings leaving gaps in the middle, it’s a problem we need to fix if not his value will continue to be questioned despite his contributions honestly I pity him at times. Cheers bruv!

If you watched that game, you remember that it was during Argentina's celebration that Morocco started rioting. Referee had to suspend the game immediately. it was after resuming that they could now announce the VAR check. The referee never ended the game.

According to your post chief, the referee ended the game and Morocco pressured FIFA to restart the game. Where are you getting this version from na?
