Well, I have to say we need to study what actually happened. The easiest route is to assume it just happened after a number of year of "developing". I think this is one area we need to improve on -- research and data.

Declonization for me is a psychological thing. When by default you assume anything foreign is better, then there is a problem.

As regards our music industry, I am in music myself so I know very well. when producing music became cheaper with the switch from analog to digital DAWs, or quality standard in production rose to match that of foreign music.
