Iwobi and Onyedika seem a telepathic connection that came to live today. As soon as they started working together, the fluidity shine. Impressed with both.

Nice work rate from Iwobi. He is really getting to understand his role.
Massive player

Even with the goal, today wasn't Akor's day.
This was a tough game. It takes experience to glide through and our experienced players came to the party- Osihmen, Iwobi, Ndidi and even Simon. They all showed leadership

what a good game , a match to rewatch and rewatch again ..... thank you Chelle for giving us a Super Eagles that we deserve.... they all played for one another .... if not for the goal and Assist , i would have given my Man of the match to Iwobinho ... he has raised his game ... Even Osayi was a beast ... Joined Bassey in the beast mode ...

I think FIFA may be waiting for how AFCON turns out before making a verdict

And I'm thinking they may be based towards us now seeing that we will rep Africa better than DR Congo
I taught the case was dismissed, what verdict are you talking about?

If I have said it before I must say it again. Man U will crash for passing on Osimhen

The hang time, the assist, the chance that was denied by the bar. Omooo

Can we just conclude we no longer have a midfield probelm?
We don't o
And when Aina and Benjamin return, we are covered in defence
Na just GK department remain

Bruno has cemented his place as our permanent LB going forward. I am glad he finally brought it out of himself to show he is classes above Zaidu.

Love Zaidu. Immense at the last Afcon but the defensive setup hid some of his limitations. Bruno excels far better in an attacking setup. In a team playing on the front foot for large portions of the game.

Defensively Bruno and Osayi were absolute Monsters today.

I am confident coming up against Brahim Diaz and Ezzalzouli. Our fullbacks are monsters offensively and defensively.

He was everywhere especially in the second half but Osayi and Bruno really surprised me today, best performance so far from the players.

Next time the coach should bring in another midfielder for Onyeka if Onyeka gets tired.

Imagine benching Osimhen today for a spat that had been settled all in the name of teaching him a lesson.😦

Believe me
Morocco is in the planning room now
They will be trying to influence CAF with referee decisions, etc
Your guess is as good as mine. My mind tells me that Chelle and our boys will come up with a new strategy: Take shots from outside the opponents 18, Try a lot of leg ball to hand skills on the Morrocan defence, exploit a weak link in their defence like Zerrouki was for the Algerians, Have a joker sub or starter in the attack or midfield to force the Moroccans into confusion, improve on our final delivery from crosses and freekicks and hopefully we should be in the finals.

Once I saw the changes, Ndidi out fot Onyeball and Onyeka out for Simon (a tactical move to keep energy fresh on the flank supporting Bruno or Osayi and also to prevent Onyeka picking up a card), I smiled. I said yes... this midfield will see out the game comfortably. They will knock the ball around and vertically and still be able to defend any turnovers in possession.

The Iwobi-Onyedika sync was a blend of cerebral and tactical defending class in session. Sweet to watch.
