5. The only known authenticated photo of Billy the kid on official records taken in 1879
Billy the kid was a young and notorious gunfighter. His real name was Henry McCarty. He took part in the Lincoln County war held at New Mexico and had gunned down eight men. It seemed like he loved running from the police and a long history of evading and hiding from cops. He was killed by Sheriff Garrett who later wrote a book on him titled The Authentic Life of Billy, the Kid.

On Sunday 3 rd 1967, the driving side rule of Sweden switched from left hand side to the right hand side. It was called Dagen H (H day). H stands for “Högertrafik” meaning right side in Swedish.

The woman in the photo is Evelyn McHale who jumped to death from 83 rd floor observation deck of the Empire State Building. It is believed that she committed suicide after separating from her fiancé. She wrote in a note “He is much better without me”. Just after 4 minutes of her death a photography student Robert Wiles took this photo with this photography skills. And because of the way it is taken, it is termed as “The Most Beautiful Suicide”

It was named that because the lady looked so peaceful and unhurt despite falling several stories and crushing a car. I saw the coloured version on discovery channel once, remove the mangled car beneath her, you'd think a pretty lady is taking a nap.
