If you are fortunate to gain Admission to Uni or polytechnic in Nigeria, I say congrat to you.

Can you cast your mind back to all the rigorous experiences? The Bureaucracy in schools? The deliberate tough time given to you by some lecturers?

To mention a few of all the Rigour.

You finished and this time with out standing performance and it is the usual practice that school retains and give automatic employment to either first class or distinction students.

Unfortunately some schools choose to let their student with Distinction to be wasting away while those with lower grades buy their way in and get employed.

An example is FRIN Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria whose Headquarters is at Jericho in Ibadan.

FRIN we write to let you know your products, Your Distinction students, Your pride are found on the street selling Rice and Beans at motor parks, while you employ other student from other school with Pass to work in your institute.

While you are busy Giving employment to people due to their affiliation with Top Directors and also Religious or ethnic sentiment.

I am not saying students with PASS does not deserve a Job or there shouldn't be beneficiaries of your office among your own people.

But what type of Research Institute Throws their Quality Seeds into the Bin
What Type of Research Institute with full Autonomy takes laws into their hand and ignore the mandate of the Institute?

Who knows the concerned Ministry that is. Ministry of Environment can take necessary measures to save the lost glory of the Research Institute.
