THE prayers of Gyang Dahoro take on a decidedly political note. A dozen local chiefs, resplendent in traditional Nigerian dress, nod approvingly as he calls for protection from the “terrorists” who have “made us refugees in our own land”. The worshippers are Christians of the Berom tribe, farmers of north-central Nigeria, who have spent 15 years fighting Fulani herdsmen. Homes abandoned in the battle lie strewn across the rocky highlands from which their state, Plateau, derives its name. Across Nigeria’s “middle belt”, indigenous tribes like theirs spar with “settlers” who are moving south as the Sahel encroaches on their pastures. Up to 300 people were reported dead after an attack by herdsmen in Benue state in February. http://www.economist.com/news/middle-east-and-africa/21695882-bad-governance-has-bred-uprisings-boko-haram-biafra-fighting-all-fronts?fsrc=scn/tw/te/pe/ed/fightingonallfronts 4 Likes |

The sooner you realize that the zoo is on Life support the better You steal crude oil from our Land and congregate at Abuja to share the money Then you use the money to import sardine, tin tomatoes and white rice and then use the balance to host Q'ran reciting competition. You will come here read the last paragrah the chant One zoo . . .Sai dullard and go back to the petrol Queue But that is your future and the future of your children , But the future of the children of God is bright and its outside the zoo May the terrorist genocidist animal chief Baboon Buhari manage you and your future the way he is managing the Zoo called Nigeria 6 Likes |

Why is the truth always bitter to some people ?? We do not need the Ecomomist to tell us Buhari's efforts is being jeopardized , especially by some people in a region who chose not to vote for him This is the reality , Biafra , not mend or massob anymore , Vandalizing pipelines , massive fraud and sharing of national wealth e.t.c.e.t.c. But as for me and my kind, WestandwithBuhari 3 Likes |

Whilst earnestly hoping for a better tomorrow, the sad truth is that the economy is presently in shambles.. It is also trite to say that all promises by APC have come to nought! We are watching and praying 1 Like 1 Share |
