Today he has been given Power, Works and Housing ministries to oversee but do you know how much Fashola claimed to have spent constructing a dedicated power station for Alausa secretariat?

Do you also know that the Alausa gas power plant is the most expensive power plant ever commissioned in the world?

It cost about 3.2 billion naira or 21million dollars back when it was commissioned to generate 10.4MW solely for the Alausa govt secretariat. This gas plant has no grid network or transmission plants as the power station is located on site in Alausa.

The plant depends on liquefied natural gas supplied by oando plc and so there wasn't any provision for laying of gas pipes.

The final breakdown is as follows...

It cost Lagos state govt over $2million to produce 1MW i.e. approximately $2 per wattage! This is outside daily operational cost of maintaining the plant with gas supply, staff salaries and other maintenance cost!

After adjusting fairly for operational daily cost, the Alausa power plant would have amounted to $3 per wattage!

If Alausa was your DISCO that will make your average monthly consumption of 12KW to $3,600 daily outside vat and other charges thereby bringing your monthly bill to an outrageous $120,000 for a total energy consumption of a mere 360KW!

he signed no checks.....hypocrisy is when you start pursuing Orubebe and Fashola is off the hook..... whatever the alleged embezzlements of Sambo Dansuki it's nowhere near that of Raji Fashola.

Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge.

Conceived, constructed and commissioned by fashole, the Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge cost a whooping 29bn naira for a meagre 1.3km length.

The bridge has been erroneously described as Nigeria's first suspension bridge.

This is a lie as the tower in place does not help secure the bridge but is merely an aesthetic feature as the bridge sits on sunken pillars.

But the biggest fraud has to be it's cost. It cost LASG $184million dollars that is at 1.3km it cost about well over close to $1.5million dollars per metre length.

Contrast this bridge with the 1.8km river Niger bridge that was proposed to have two decks one for traffic and the other below for rail. The leki bridge is a 4 Lane bridge i.e. with two lanes dual carriage, while the second Niger bridge was expected to have 10 lanes and was designed for heavy duty trucks and traffic while the Lekki Bridge is restricted to salon cars and light vans.

The most annoying thing is that after commissioning the bridge the bridge was immediately concessioned to a company linked to Tinubu- Fashola's frog father.
