You are a kogite from 'his part of the world'? Must you always look at everything through a tribal lens? We cannot in the name of tribalism and self centeredness throw our constitution to the gallows. allowing the yahaya bello govt who is not constitutionally qualified to contest because he has no valid voters card will create a dangerous precedent for our electoral system. Tomorrow someone with primary school cert can disregard the educational requirement for contesting and get sworn in as president of Nigeria as long as he has the backing of the powers that be and there will be nothing we can do about it. Apart from the apparent complications of legitimizing inheritance of votes. The kogi issue has far reaching implications for our democracy. Marley01: |

FOR THOSE THAT ARE INTERESTED IN WHAT THE US CONSTITUTION HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE KOGI SCENARIO- Once the electors' votes are cast, the votes are bundled and sent to Congress. It is here, if the candidate dies after the electors vote, that the election can really turn on a dime. The votes for president are sent to the House to be counted, while the votes for the vice president are sent to the Senate for counting. Any ballot which is invalid would not be counted - and a ballot cast for a person who is dead would not be considered valid. In this case, if the dead person was the winner of the electoral votes cast, and assuming a normal two-party election, the person with the most valid electoral votes would be the person who actually received the lower portion of the electoral votes. http://www.usconstitution.net/consttop_pvp.html |

Sponsored by an APC faction that wants to attack bello. That must be why they reduced wada lead from over 25000 to 250 in the article. This kogi case is filled with intrigues and too much propaganda |

Wada's second coming will be the best thing to happen for Kogi State. We are tired of the NYSC Governor who's obviously got his priorities wrong from the onset. To day, despite collecting allocations, he has refused to pay salaries citing screening. Am sure he will pay when half the workforce die of Hunger. Since the Nation is facing a massive economic hardship, one would have expected Bello to simply focus on paying salaries and leave the rest until the overall economy improves. Unfortunately like the Corper Governor he is, his priorities are completely misplaced. All we've seen since he took over are demolishing of round-abouts and spending our money on exotic cars. His Chief of Staff drives a Mercedes AMG-55 Jeep. A 45 Million Naira car, yet they can't pay salaries. For all they want to say about Wada, the civil servants welfare was not this bad. There was human empathy in Governance. What we are currently seeing is crass dictatorship and democratic recklessness. Am not a legal person but by God's grace Bello will be kicked out! |

Kiakia:if this what you think, then you truly know nothing about the case going on. It could also mean that you're angry because your fraudulently forced governor will soon be out meaning your plans have failed. Take heart, good things happen. |

donvicky2007:we are witnesses to the fact that the illegal governor has proven beyond all reasonabl doubt that he is incapable of steering the affairs of Kogi state. So, apart from the fact that Wada is coming back because he deserves it, we need him to save us from this man on IT. Sai Wada |

Atlast, an assurance that the IT student(AYB) will finish his IT in Government house in a very short while. The best news I've received since power changed hands which has led to a serious decline in progress. The Captain is coming back to continue from where he stopped. May Allah make it easy for him.
