The role of a pastor in political times is to neither stand with one politician or against another, but to stand with what is right.
Any politician who wants to stand with the clergy should find that the only way to do that is to stand with what is right.
This way, the clergy is not see to be patronizing any individual but sticking to the path of his calling.
And if a politician wants to be seen as pleasing God, all he needs do is walk the path of right.

In this stance, he must be somehow like traditional leaders in that they are neither for nor against any contestant.
But they must give their godly counsel to all who come ask for it. Any humble enough to seek that. Which is why
in my view, Pastor Adeboye made it a point to publicly pray for both Jonathan and Osibanjo.

For Reverend Mbaka, if folks had said he crossed the line, they would have been attacked.
God did not call the modern day Christian to be a diviner, predicting outcomes of elections.
The things we are to do is grow in the fruits of the Spirit and disciple others to do the same using our lives
as examples and the word of God.

Now recount the words Rev Mbaka said that night in the crusade.
Words spilled with tear-filled eyes.
He reduced himself then to a politician although he did not know it
because now, what he said of the past administration with tears in his eyes,
Nigerians are all genuinely wailing about the one he supported with metaphorical tears in our eyes.

What is unfolding today is not the handiwork of any group or any party.
Nobody can say that people are sponsoring hate ads against the folks at the helm of affairs.
What we are observing is a collapse from within the current handler of our country
that embarrasses all who staked a lot to support them.

Many supported this administration in coming into power and clearly are getting nervous and embarrassed.

Now Reverend Mbaka is unfortunately one of them and this should not have been the case.

Perhaps the clergy man should be even more neutral than the trad leaders giving the God perspective to all who will give an ear to him

Why are u calling Mbaka? His prediction is still on point. The problem with an average IPOB like you is dat u make too much empty noise.

By December 2018, come and ask dis same question.

Things may be hard at d moment due to massive drop in oil price. There is no miracle PMB can do in d first year of office.

Mbaka made it clear in his position dat in d beginning of PMB govt tins will be difficult but d end will be good.

Wait till d end b4 calling Mbaka.

AS AT TODAY, MBAKA IS ON POINT.

HE IS STILL D FEW SINCERE CLERGY IN OUR TIME.

Below is what Mbaka Said on 31st December 2015.

“Listen fellow Nigerians, as it is right now, most of what we are suffering now and we are going to suffer were caused few years ago but the Lord asked me to encourage you. Suffering is coming but it is not suffering under damnation, there is solution, it may take some time, but at the end of it, there will be testimony;
Nigeria is the giant of Africa, Nigeria is the best country in this world; with the best weather; the country that produces the most strongest people; people who can survive everywhere, people who can relate with any type of person, people who can survive any type of weather- Nigerians; people who can prosper anywhere; the destiny, the dynasty, the authority, the destiny, what it takes to make Nigeria great is restored this year.

“As I have told you, there is going to be crisis but God will handle it. This year, God said my people will be over-comers, things will be hard but my people will be over-comers”.

Maybe the holyspirit that revealed to him that Buhari is the messiah might have made a mistake. Buhari has proven to be a harden sectional heartless leader.

Very correct. Rev. Fr Mbaka was partisan to an extent. Perhaps he wanted to be like Daniel who told Belteshazzer, the Babylonian King that he had been rejected. Unfortunately, Daniel was only interpreting what was written on the wall by a strange hand and not just his own words whether inspired or not. Men of God are meant to speak out against evil acts or governance and not the personalities. They are told to pray for leaders or rulers but condemn wicked policies. Today, buhari's abysmal performance would give a big blow to the priest's credibility. Worrisome it is when such priests become mute to the blood shed across the land. This makes me wonder who the poor and innocent citizenry will look up to since both the politicians and clergy have become indifferent to their plight. It is a big shame to be from Nigeria.

Mbaka is still on point.
You are the one who is wrong just d same way the people of Isreal are wrong about Jesus Christ as Messiah. They thought when d messiah come everything will just bcome easy at once. That they will be free from Roman oppression immediately. But since dat did not happen with Jesus Coming, they rejected him. Till today Jesus is still rejected by Jews as a messiah. The Jews are still waitiing for dat messiah that will make everytin very easy at once.

The Jews also made d same mistake with moses. When moses was taking them to d promise land, they started doubting when tins bcame hard and tough. They even abandon Moses and God at a time.

So Mbaka is absolutely on point. He said there will be suffering under PMB at the Begining. But the end will be good. That end could be 2019 or 2023. So relax.

Opposition is not madness; the problem with dis generation especially lazy youths like u is that u being told what u want to hear even if u're being confused.

Mbaka's statement was simple then I quote;
Peter Obi what u and Mbaka are doing will come to nothing. Now d question is did it d prophecy happen or not. Those dat said that Buhari shud not even think of contesting dat he would be defeated squarely was Buhari actually defeated?
Be careful!!
