A university student in America has to pay £404,000 to 4 record labels for illegally dowloading and transferring music.

Huge sum in Naira, about N101,000,000. It might be a bit excessive within the circumstance but in my view quite deserving.
That's the only way piracy can be stopped.
If only the Nigerian Government would show a bit more seriousness like this, then Nigerian artistes would not have to rely solely on shows for survival.
