Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has
written to House of Assembly for approval to
review the 2016 budget from N150.7 to N137.9.
The Chairman, House Committee on Information
and Strategy, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye said this in
a statement made available to our
correspondent in Osogbo on Monday.
According to the statement, the Speaker
of the House of Assembly, Najeem
Salaam read the request for an approval
at the plenary on Monday.
The governor explained that he was seeking the
approval of the house for the review of the
budget due to the poor economic situation
which had affected the projections of the state.
The governor said the downward review of the
budget became necessary to give the
government the capacity to implement it.
