Since d revival of the BIAFRA question, many opinions have been aired both by Nigerians and non- Nigerians as to d possibility of d dismembering of d contraption called Niger- Area or better still, Nigeria. One reality that stares one in d face is d post- disintegration era. In otherwords, which region will rise up first after d dusts of going our separate ways must have settled down? As someone who believes in d power and prospects of diversities in terms of human and natural resource contribution and contradictions, i humbly request Hon. Nairalanders to use their logical and intuitive abilities to help find answers to this poser.

If the problems in Nigeria were really tribal then in think most Nigerians would have asking for a split. But the economic problems are not tribal at all. It is political. Secondly if we really had a tribal problem many youths will be on d street from all states asking for split. But our problem is foolish and corrupt politicians with no sense of responsibility.
The issue of oil they have found oil in the north now in lake chad basin borno state. The north now has a chance to prove to us if the r for Nigeria or for oil.
If we split the US will come in to guard Niger Delta and borno state. They will control economic policies and own these oil wells. The remaining States without oil including Igbo States will be left to destitution. Economically and politically weak states open to exploitation.
The fact is outsiders have been killing our Muslims in d north for 10 years in d name of book haram. Now they r trying to distabilize d ss regions with so called Fulani herdsmen. What we need is to implement a long term solution of security in f country and move for a certain degree of decentralized power. Not total a certain degree.
Next we need to get these pot bellied old fools out of power. PDP, APC,nass, governors, ministers, they all need to go. They r d true enemies here.
Breaking up will end us up in libya, syria, koreas. Economically and politically weak states plagued with continued violence
And lastly d idea of breaking nigeria is stupid truly. So biafra breaks off, then ss breaks off from Biafra, then middle belt breaks out of north, then Benue breaks out of middle belt, den Fulani break out of Shiite, etc. It is a foolish idea. If we r breaking on tribal grounds it is a foolish idea bcoz u cannot get any ethnically clean group.

It's in God's hands.
Meanwhile only marginal progress will be made and Nigeria will continue to underperform other African countries with much less resources.

If Nigeria breaks up, which I pray for, it could end up with more than 4 or 5 pieces. The so called Niger-Delta, excluding the Delta Igbos and River Igbos can divided broadly into the edoid/Ijaw regions and includes Ijaws,Binis,Ogonis,Itsekiris, Urobos etc and the Efik/Ibibio nation which includes Oron,Annang,Efik, Ibibio etc. How these groups would vote in a referendum is still subject to debate but I know they won't vote to stay in Nigeria. They can't vote to for a Niger-Delta Republic either since no one is canvassing for that and I doubt if the Efik/Ibibio nation will want to be with Ijaw/Edoid that have little or no connection with. Another option is voting to leave with the greater Igbo nation. I think it is more likely in the options available that the Efik/Ibibio nation will vote to leave with Igbos, however, the Ijaw /edoid are going to be more problematic since most Igbos do not want Edo state in any new country with them(except Igbanke). I think that what might eventually happen is that Edo state will have to be left in Nigeria while the Ijaw/ Efik/Ibibio nation will form a confederation with the greater Igbo nation. But this is just my opinion.

nigeria is an evil entity without any sense of justice, ruled by monkeys and baboon. A bloated model for the study of Kakistocracy.

It only enjoys drinking blood. It has to divide for its inhabitants to survive.
