Some celebrities are more than just the pretty face. Yes they need it for the life they lead, but some also have a beautiful mind too and have very good qualifications apart from their acting prowess. Let’s see some of the Hollywood’s brightest people.

JAMES FRANCO
James Franco holds an English Bachelor’s from UCLA and also a Masters in Fine Arts from Columbia University which makes him one of the most qualified actors in Hollywood. He’s not yet done yet, he’s perusing a PhD in English from Yale.

2. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

This man is a perfect example of macho with brains. After he won the Mr. Junior bodybuilding title in 1965, the Terminator and the Conan the Barbarian star went to college and did his Bachelor’s in Business and International Economics from the University of Wisconsin.

3. DOLPH LUNDGREN

He’s more than the actor who starred in the hugely successful action flick The Expendables. He has a degree in Chemistry from the Washington State University and Chemical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. To put a ring on it, he also did a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

4. ROWAN ATKINSON

He famously played the half-wit Mr. Bean. On contrary to his TV life, he holds a Master’s Electrical Engineering degree from the Oxford University.

5. LISA KUDROW

She played the crazy Phoebe in the crazily super hit TV show Friends. Lisa Kudrow did her Bachelor’s in Biology at Vassar College in USA.

6. KEN JEONG

You won’t believe that Mr. Chow from the Hangover series is a licensed medical professional. He did his internal medicine residency in the New Orleans and also practices often in California.

7. DAVID DUCHOVNY

This star from the hugely successful TV series X-Files and Californication has a couple of Ivy League degrees. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature from Princeton University and a Master’s in the same from Yale University. He’s not done yet, it’s reported that he’s perusing his PhD.

8. NATALIE PORTMAN

The Academy Award winning actress is fluent with English, Japanese, French and Hebrew. Apart from being one of the most beautiful actresses of Hollywood, she holds a BA in Psychology degree from University of Harvard.

9. HUGH JACKMAN

The famous Wolverine star has a Communications degree from the Sydney’s University of Technology and thus is a qualified journalist.

10. HUGH GRANT

The famous Bridget Jones star has a Golden Globe and a BAFTA in his kitty, but also what he owns is an English Literature from the prestigious University of Oxford.

After graduating from high school, Parsons received an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston . He was prolific during this time, appearing in 17 plays in 3 years. He was a founding member of Infernal Bridegroom Productions and regularly appeared at the Stages Repertory Theatre. Parsons enrolled in graduate school at the University of San Diego in 1999. He was one of seven students accepted into a special two-year course in classical theater, taught in partnership with the Old Globe Theater.
