Photos don’t lie…Sect leader alive after capture – Daily Trust

Controversy over the killing of the Boko Haram sect leader took a new dimension yesterday when a photograph emerged showing that Mohammed Yusuf was alive and had no serious injuries when captured by the military.

The army last Thursday captured Yusuf, 39, and handed him over to the police, who a few hours later displayed his dead body and said he died in combat.

The BBC website yesterday posted a photograph which shows that Yusuf was alive when captured by the army.

Human rights groups have called for an immediate investigation into the killing of Yusuf, which they called “extrajudicial” and “illegal.”

On Friday, the army commander of the operation against the Boko Haram group, Col Ben Ahanoto, said he had personally captured Yusuf and handed him over to the Borno State police commissioner.

Look at his face as he is smiling and looking triumphant after mass murder, them do well to shoot his criminal head. The army dont want to take chances with this one and meet him on the battle field again.

And so what?
