China has granted Nigeria a $6 billion loan to fund infrastructural projects. “It won’t need an agreement to be signed; it is just to identify the projects and we access it,” he said.

Nigeria also entered a currency swap deal with China as the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC), the world’s biggest lender, and Nigeria’s central bank signed a deal on yuan transactions. According to Lin Songtian, Director General of the African Affairs Department of China’s foreign ministry,

“It means that the renminbi (yuan) is free to flow among different banks in Nigeria, and the renminbi has been included in the foreign exchange reserves of Nigeria”

For the citizen's sake, i hope the loan will be put into good use. Anything less, will leave the country with a toxic debt.

I feel really sorry for this man. The task before him is indeed arduous, but as daunting as it is, so shall the glory be when the mission is accomplished!

I see a gentleman destined to leapfrog the nation's economy into the future, ahead of her peers in record time.

I believe we are seeing the father of Modern Nigeria, our very own Lee Kuan Yew, in the making- doubt that at your own risk. smiley

Buhari turned the hands of our national clock back to stone age under 9 months. Nigeria can't even survive 3 more months of Buhari.

With all the stress Buhari has undergone to procure this loan, even if his wife embezzles 1kobo, she will be severely dealt with.

At least will are 100% sure that unlike the $2.1b in Jonathan's era, this one will not end up in someone's pocket.

Very true brother. The frustrated piglets and children of the Lost Tribe of Myanmar whose lives revolve around nothing but the price of fuel are busy quoting prices for people unsolicited while others make the most of rare opportunities that abound courtesy of the administration.

I pray someone doesn't die on a queue reading my post. smiley
