I logged into my facebook account via my laptop and almost immediately one of my Facebook friends started chatting me up. This was a guy I knew way back in my days at Unilorin. We hardly spoke and have never chatted on facebook, so immediately I saw the chat, I knew something was wrong. His account was hacked. Here are screen grabs from our Chat. Facebook scammers are so dumb, they don't check existing chat records to see you've got NO preexisting relationship with the hacked account |

The best way to catch them is to ask them questions that are you didn't post online but your supposed friend knows. I asked for his office and he didn't mention. I asked for his phone number, he also couldn't provide that. Little things like this give them up as being fraudulent. 1 Like |
