I was wondering why we call coke, fanta, spirit, limca etc MINERAL.

is mineral the correct name or naija name for them

Soft drink or soda is the right word



We grew up to hear our elders call it that way


My favourite back then was Limca or Krest abi na Crest

A soft drink can be called 'mineral'. Though it is informal and highly used in Ireland.
