The All Progressives Congress in Osun State has appealed to the Federal Government to assist states owing their workers to defray the salary arrears.

The Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy of the APC in the state, Mr. Kunle Oyatomi, who said this in a statement made available to our correspondent in Osogbo on Wednesday said the FG should help the states even if they have to source for fund from the external reserves.

The party said states appreciated the bailout given to them last year by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, but stressed that they needed another bailout from the FG to save them from the salary crisis.

The statement read, “We are therefore appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Federal Government to help the affected states ‎out of this crisis.

“We are approaching an emergency on this crisis, because not only is the crisis spreading like wild fire across states‎, it is assuming a dimension that would seriously affect the economy of the country.

“To avoid an emergency that could create difficulties for the economy in the next decade, the Federal Government must address the problem now, even if it means having recourse to our reserves.

“What was cynically thought to be an Osun problem is now suddenly a national emergency which the Federal Government can not afford to ignore.

“We cannot play the ostrich in a situation as critical as this.

“Those politicians who only few months ago were mocking the state of Osun and cynically offering their salaries to pay workers in Osun have suddenly become quiet now that their own states are owing between 6 and 10 months’ salaries, especially in Bayelsa.”

The APC further stressed that the salary crisis was a critical factor in the economic stagnation which Nigeria was experiencing currentlyhttp://www.punchng.com/osun-apc-begs-fg-for-fresh-bailout/

For the FG to give you another bailout,
1) Osun has to have it's accounts audited by external audits,
2) All missing (read stolen) monies returned.
3) Aregbesola stepping aside.

Finally, fuel will be sold at 60 Naira per
litter from Friday!!
I new it!
President Buhari made it clear 2 hours
ago on a private interview in Aso Rock, that
fuel
will be sold at 60 Naira per
litter starting from Friday 22nd
April, 2016.
President Buhari also said
that, the issue of Naira falling in value
will be resolved in less than a week, he
made it clear that by the time the naira issue is
resolved, 60 Naira will = 1
Dollar and that will be in 3 weeks from now, it
will become one Naira - one Dollar.
President Buhari also said that he
promised to change Nigeria at the right
time and that right time is now.
He also
wanted to talk about
corruption, but my Tv exploded
immediately after he mentioned the
Word, "Corruption" and that was when
I woke up and discovered that it was all
a Dream. I sincerely apologize for playing with
your emotions.......

Aresa, gbawe were are thou? Your idol, aragbe rascal is cap in hand kneel on ground begging the dulllado of federal government for another bailout, after wasting the previous one in owambe and world tallest drum.

It is a pity that the state of osunistan is now a laughing stock and a curse to the yoruba nation, all because of apc. Even the war torned northeast states of bono and adamawa is head and shoulder above sun state in all indices. Education, development, buoyant, economic viability, IGR, literacy rate, child enrollment to school etc.

The only news emanating from the state of osun, as Christianed by omoluabi aka aragbess, the rooftop change throwing WIZARD is on where and how to get more loans or bailout to clear backlog of salaries and the near to total relapse of it citizenry into amajiri beggars. This is definitely the worst time to be a yoruba. We have made a lot of political gaffe in the choice of leaders we choose to govern us. We no longer deserved to be addressed as surfisticated tribe nor claim political savy, when southeast are getting it more right than us.

If there's any state in the southern nigerian befitting the current status of osun state, it is no other state than Ebony state, but on the contrary, Ebony and all the SE states seems to do better than all the omoluabi states, except lagos which currently sit and been sustained by huge internal and external loan. Our corrupt politicians need to understudy their eastern counterpart and learn one or two thing about governance from them, likewise we the electorate should understudy our Ibo brothers and shun hate and amala politics. The only way we can regain our pride and lost glory is to jettison the politics of god fatherism, like the ibos have done. By rejecting any politician projected by the corrupt tunubu and his gang of sellout.
