Why Nigerians Must Support Saraki by Nobody: 4:08am On Apr 21, 2016
Many Nigerians are just hypocrites, black double-
faced serpents...
I don't like Saraki, I dont even give a hoot about
him and I have never appreaciated his deperado
style of politics but if Donald Trump can have
sold out rallies all the time, why cant Saraki have
his own set of supporters.
Adeyemi Ikuforiji had a similar issue, infact his
case was worst, as it was a case of alleged
misappropriation and diversion of Lagos
Assembly funds and for the 3 years he appeared
in court, an average of 50% LAHA members
were always with him anytime he appears for
hearing. Several support groups were also
formed in solidarity infact I personally know
people who arranged solidarity marches during
the trial but nobody called them names (some of
these people have also been attacking Saraki
supporters).
Tinubu was arraigned before this same court in
2011, He had a long list of lawyers led by 15
SANs with former NBA president, Wole
Olanipekun being honcho man yet "Nigerians"
applauded him for being dogged. Governors and
Senators turned up for Tinubu yet this was cool
with people who are now wailing and cursing on
fellow Nigerians who have decided to lend their
support to Saraki.
Biko if Saraki is found guilty, he should be
punished as deserved but then he is entitled to
have his own set of followers... We are in a
democracy na.
To cut the long story short, Saraki is APC, his
prosecutors were employed by APC persecutors
but it is unfortunate that the last 10-11 months
have seen us focusing on less important
issues... #MyTwoCent

Your write-up is logical but the headline is my problem.

Not all Nigerians supported Kuforiji and Tinubu as your title wants to point to.

Few beneficial elements can support their Benefactors but all of Nigeria will not.

Pls pls pls, this is just pure insanity.

Some nigerians are funny creatures. In one breathe u say u want saraki to be punished. In another u say people shld support him. I think OP is the two faced hypocrite here. Dont pretend to stand on the fence when you very well know that u support corruption in all its ramifications.

U compared saraki to tinubu. Nobody is stop saraki from hiring as many lawyers as he can afford. But dont come and insult our sensibilities and tell us to support a man who is clearly guilty of stealing and destroying his state. Our justice system allows thieves to have their say, but it doesnt mandate the good people of Nigeria to support a known thief!

Back then, there was Internet but no smart phones and definitely, not much assess to information as we have now. And back then, Nigerians didn't know much about their stealing spree! Yes! There was newspaper but only few bought them, unlike today tour can read the most recent news with free mb.

My take? What should be hated should be hated. Stealing, looting, corruption are all the same. We must rise as one and show that we hate it. After all, we are all affected by the result of their stealing/corruption. That is the only way to move Nigeria forward.

So because ikuforiji or whatever was in court with his assembly members means the senate should shut down cuz one criminal is facing justice Abegiii lets face reality, saraki dug his political grave a long time ago and its almost burying him right now.his hunger and thirst for power is just too much that he doesnt care about anyone else even his father who brought him into politics

everybody is entitled to his opinion and believe, nobody was crucifying tinubu supporters as well as ikuforiji during there trial, instead of us doing media trial, giving judgement before the court itself gives verdict, Saraki is not a criminal until it's proven guilty by a competent court of law.
Media trial ain't the best for now

This poster needs an integrity check, really.

I only needed to read the first paragraph to realize that something is terribly wrong with his logic and the argument he wanted to present.
Donald Trump is a presidential candidate. He has no criminal charges to deal with. Saraki on the other hand, is standing trial for criminal charges. Where is the similarity here?

Read the title of your topic once more - Why Nigerians Must Support Saraki. In other words, you want to give reasons why we should support someone who is an alleged criminal, and who has a lot of incriminating evidence against him?

No one is stopping you from carrying placards in front of the courthouse and proclaiming the innocence of Saraki. You don't however have the moral suasion to drag anyone into it.

Na wah o. This country sef angry

leave the title, i purposely use such just to catch people's attention, notwithstanding going by the content of my write up, am simply advocating that we should stop getting it wrong when some set of people support the embattled Senate President, people have supported political actors in the past and nobody crucify them, why are we crucifying people in the case of Saraki
