Maybe it's high time marketers start having their own stand-by fire trucks instead of always waiting for state fire service. Once beaten twice shy

From mid night demolition of shops in Ladipo some weeks back to Midnight fire. This looks like an ongoing sabotage targeted at a certain group

"Lagos State Fire Service Director, Mr Rasak Fadipe, said his men responded immediately, and that the fire was put out at about 10 a.m."

Eight hours of action sef shocked

This Lagos State Government sef wink
The one that annoyed me the most was the Dana plane crash. The plane crashed @ 3pm, Fire service came @ 7pm. Heck they didn't even know the road to the site.

Ok i blame Gej, yes Gej and PDP.

Had it been that he dredged River Niger goods from abroad will come home and that will propel our brothers to build a modern market back home, even people from lagos will come down east for any type of goods they want.

Now Buhari is empowering his brothers(mallams in black market money exchange). They buy dollar at cheaper rate and sale 320 up words.

Gej raped us big time, did virtually NOTHING for us

Mix feeling as for me. My sympathy to those genuine ones, this is a market where a bought a tv set for 45k but, not knowing I was buying a tv with a broken screen, 5 five minutes later, after I took it to the next shop for testing, then I discovered the screen was damaged. In attempt to negotiate for good one, the man ask me to pay X3 against the initial price to get me another one. At point, it became obvious to me that I have been 419. Before, I could realize the situation I have found myself in, they have pushed me and the scrap I call tv out of the shop. This is how I lost 45k within a tinkle of an eye. 2 weeks later, I took the tv to a technician with hope I could get screen fixed , coming back the following day, the technician only advised to let the tv because, the cost for fixing screen was 63k instead, I should buy new one. In the end, I sold the tv as scrap for 4k.

iamVirus:

There was a fire outbreak at Ladipo Auto spare parts market, Mushin Lagos at about 2 am yesterday morning which razed about 50 shops to the ground.
No definite cause for the fire has been ascertained so far. One source told The Nation that the fire was caused by a gas explosion while another source said it was by irregular power supply. The fire reportedly started from the Osoro/Akinwumi area of the market.
One of the traders at the market, Chukwu Ebuka Ekeneze said:
“The fire was caused by gas; there is a woman who cooks nearby we heard her gas was left on and that lead to the fire outbreak,” he said.
Another trader, Emeka said:
“We got to the shop this morning and found our things burnt; the fire started 3am this morning, we could not salvage anything. My neighbour kept N2 million in his shop but getting here it was all burnt, we picked the money and all we could feel was the ashes. The security men on duty immediately alerted fire fighters, but they arrived the scene around 6am.”
Ifeanyi Maduka said:
“Well I can’t give you facts, but judging from all that has happened here since, we cannot ascertain the cause of the fire, this fire started around 2.am. This is typically a business environment; there is no possibility anybody could have been here to ascertain how it started, but some said it began from the electric pole, and giving the fact that there is gas around, it helped the fire to escalate. The information did not get to shop owners until about 5am.”
Mr Felix Okoro, Chairman of the Osoro section of the market, said no casualty was recorded but goods worth millions of naira were consumed by the inferno.
Lagos State Fire Service Director, Mr Rasak Fadipe, said his men responded immediately, and that the fire was put out at about 10 a.m.
