Less than 6mths into Buhari's despotic military dictatorship Soyinka restarted his old trade of criticising the military junta because it did not in any way include him and Awolowo into the day to day pilfering of our nation's wealth in the name of governance.

Fast forward to 2003 and subsequently 2007 presidential elections and the man Soyinka remained totally opposed to a Buhari candidacy. He even wrote a lengthy editorial in one of the newspapers full with literary garbage.

It so happens that Soyinka never supported any candidate against Obasanjo and Yaradua because it so happens that these two figures where ordained to be Presidents of Nigeria by the western powers.

Now if we move forward to 2015 elections we see the same shameless Soyinka supporting the same Buhari he had been opposing for close to 30yrs since even claiming to state that Buhari has since "repented from his undemocratic ways".

The only reason this shameless hypocrite and confusionists supported Buhari in 2015 presidential elections is because his western masters wanted a Buhari in office and since Soyinka benefactor and pension plan manager Amaechi was in the same boat with Buhari, Soyinka shamelessly as usual went back to his vomit.

Soyinka will go back to his anti Buhari stance when his western handlers tell him to and when Amaechi his benefactor for the past 8yrs is duped out of the govt.

Weneva I remember Soyinka's statements & involvement in politics last year, I feel so embarrassed. Dat man is a disgrace 2 old age in Africa. He was overly vocal almost on weekly basis condemning the policies & actions of GEJ.
But under PMB, the only thing he has said is economic reforms.
