I see no reason why the president can't just order a cramp down on the niger delta militants, is there anything special about the niger delta militants that the president can't just give orders the same way he did to the sectional religious group (Boko haram)The millitants has commited a lot of crime to the extent that some states now follow in the act of kidnapping and requesting for ransom, this is very bad.Now i understand why Us. President OBAMA did not visit nigeria and the comments he made about nigeria's democracy.This issue hurts me the most and i stand to be opposed and corrected on this issue.Our Leaders really need to start leading by example and not about their self interest only,

For how long are we going to wait for things to change.

because southerners say their own terrorism is justified, unlike the northerners own.

If it was that easy, Yaradua would have been done with the ND militants by now.

First, you should first start by finding out who the faceless ND militants are (apart from Henry Orkar), where and how they operate, their weapons, topography and who are their targets? Then compare them to boko haram who were using primitive weapons to slaughter muslims of which is the worst "haram" to yaradua and muslims.

On the other hand, bombing an entire region that feeds the country in the quest to fish out faceless people will be the quickest way to disintergrate nigeria.

@OP
The ND is much more organised than you can fathom. You will be suprised at how quickly the oil regions will split away if theres such an attack. The means to wage a war lie in control of oil, ND largely has control of the oil as well as willpower.

The FG has nothing to lose by facing Boko Haram but has a lot at stake in the Niger Delta region grin
