In relationships we're used to complaining about other people. E.g, my coworkers are sooo lazy, my husband makes me sooo mad, my wife can be irrational, my kids are so difficult." Its always focusing on the other person. But for relatonships to actually work, you need to focus on what you appreciate about the other person, not their flaws or what you are complaining about. Because when you complain about those things you wud realise that you are only getting more of those things.
Even if you are having a really hard time in a relationship; things aren't working, you are not getting along, someone's in your face-you can still turn that relationship around and one way you do so is this. Take a piece of paper and for the next 14 days write every single thing that you appreciate about that person, evry single thing the person has done right write it down. Think about all the reason why you love them.you appreciate their sense of humor, how supportive they are. And what you'll find is that when you focus on appreciating and acknowledging their strenghts, thats what you'll get more of and your problems would fade away.
