Ok. But why do people who survive mishaps, such as accidents and wars, where people died in, go to church and thank God for His mercies on them? Did the people that died offend God or are we been fed a dummy by the religions about God interfering in the affairs of men.

That's just pple being human. Human long to believe in a supernatural power because they can't understand how the things around them cane to except for a supernatural power.
