Have we forgotten that Buhari is also a cattle rearer? In the true sense of it, if Fulani herdsmen are killing people and destroying property, do we need to be reminded that the hand writing on the wall is that, Buhari is also involved? Reason he has not said anything concerning the killings. This killing by abokis has migrated from boko haram to another stage of boko haram...only the name changed. |

jcross19: He doesn't even know that he is wrong. Ban him so that he can find something to do. People like him will complain that there are no good jobs in Nigeria meanwhile all he does is waste his time on social media hating his fellow Nigerians. People like you are the reason I don't pity some of these unemployed or under employed peeps because you all have the strength to hate yourselves but are weak to get good jobs. |

I wonder what a woman we have as a governor, a weak ling that cares for his stomach alone, fatning himself like a prize bull. When the buharis herdsmen attacked Awgu community, the weak ling was so silent on d issue that it took weeks for him to act, now it's uzo uwani and all we heard was how he went there to cry and has declared fasting...like seriously? I always know this man can only raise his hand to put food in his mouth and thats all. Oga gov. We don't need your tears, or do we need fasting, we need reasonable action from you, are you not supposed to be the chief security officer of the state? and you are crying and calling for fasting, what a shame 2 Likes |

News update- Uzowuani Massacre: Another Executive Rascality Or Poly By Muhammadu Buhari To Wipe Off the Igbo Race? Folks, we ask questions, and we demand for answers. There was a call made by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to the president, he was put on hold for over an hour 15 minutes. This call was made in the presence of 13 men and 4 women, the president aid told the Governor that the president will get back to him. The president through his aid after 4 hrs told Enugu state governor that the president will do something about it. My relative was among the people who witness this call. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on hearing that the police have not arrived at Uzouwani called GOC 82 division for help. He was refereed to the presidency again. This time around, he was put on hold for nearly 2 hrs again, while waiting to speak to the president. News came in that the attack he was planning to prevent has actually taken place. Within an hour, the commissioner and GOC who refereed the Governor to the president has mobilised their men to stop retaliation. The same way Lagos and Agatu was attacked and retaliation prevented. We need to know why police commissioner and GOC need presidency order before they can protect the innocent citizens? We need to know - why police and military sent their men to Uzouwani after the attack to prevent retaliation? We need to know why a sitting Governor cannot use the support of police and military to protect his people? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Gext22: Shut up and read the story again (even the residents are blaming the police for not protecting them 'cause they knew they were coming) Why is there a police force (made up of locals with families in the same community) and other military and para military? Why does the governor collect millions every month for security votes only to share it amongst themselves -- the blood of the dead will judge him and his crocodile tears. '1 million gang' (a gang of armed robbers), keeps terrorizing a particular part of Lagos, killing, raping, robbing, forcing family members to sleep with each other; Lagosians direct their frustration to their principals-in-charge: the governor and the CP -- not that alone, they formed an armed militia/vigilante waiting for them all night . . . even taking the fight to them . . . hunting members of the group down. You lot should learn looking at yourselves first before passing the buck. So much for chest-beating. 2 Likes

/ I can't say it enough. If you are not willing to defend yourselves, be ready to die. Making unnecessary noise and excuses in the media will not solve the problem. Do you think if a SE group attacks a village in the north that any SE person will be left alive in the North? \ 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ajogu noted that due to the location of the village on the border between Enugu and Kogi states, residents of Ukpani Nimbo community were always under attacks from herdsmen, whom he stated sought to turn the villagers’ farmlands into grazing fields for their cattle. Urging the federal and state governments to come to the assistance of the community, the spokesman said security should be beefed up in the village to forestall future attacks. security men cannot forestall future attacks. You are the one that will forestall it. From time to time, hit them hard before they hit you. Remember that attack is the best form of defense. |

I don't want to sound tribalistic here. Just imagine your mother, wife, sister being raped in front of you and after the incidence, you are being asked to beg and offer an apology to the offender as somone here said. Would that not be the dumbest and most stupidest thing to do. |

It is so amazing how a Governor in Nigeria has no powers to order the commissioner of police in his state to do the needful except the IGP yet the governor is called the chief security officer of his state?? A mayor that is more like a local government chairman here in the State of Maryland can fire and appoint a CP while a whole governor of a state in Nigeria cannot even summon the C.P in the state he governs talkless of mandating him to provide security in times of crises? Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake fired Police Commissioner Anthony W. Batts Wednesday, saying his presence had become a distraction in a city that needs to focus on ending a dramatic spike in homicides. "Too many continue to die on our streets, including three just last night and one lost earlier today," Rawlings-Blake said. "Families are tired of feeling this pain, and so am I. ... We need a change." http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/bs-md-ci-batts-fired-20150708-story.html I honestly don't know the adjective to use to describe Nigeria. |

989900B:Are you kidding me? A security challenge that crosses States boundaries with a federal conspiracy ring to it is supposed to be solved by the governor? The federal police who are supposed to protect people are under the control of the President who is either flying off to some foreign lands or keeping mute like a statue on relevant issues the few times he is around. BTW, what are the governors supposed to do? They are not in control of any security agency as a matter of law for funding. Even the US where state police is being practiced, a security challenge like this would have seen Obama vilified and bearing the bulk of the blame and him possibly losing political relevance. I don't care how Lagos zombie crowd decide to respond to this crisis. They can choose to play politics for all i care. I care about the lives of my people and your buhari is responsible for all the loss of lives and properties that happened in Enugu. |

2 Questions: Would they have over ran the governor's house? Are there men and women from that area in the the Police and other security forces? This is a very, very, sad incident that should never have been allowed to happen at all cost, regardless of who's to blame, or not. 1 Like |

cooljude:RIP to the dead. There are two parties to this crisis. We hear your own side of the story. But since the Fulani don't seem to have a mouthpiece we need sincere answers to some questions. What have you people been doing to the Fulani as to be certain they were coming to attack you? Why you and not another communities? Has any of you killed any of them before or have you rustled their cattle? There must be a reason for 500 Fulani men to gather and attack just one community and not their neighbors. Their attack have mostly been reprisal. Just seeking the truth. 2 Likes |
