FULANI HERDSMEN, THE IGBOS AND A WAY OUT – PAS CHOKER

#Fulani herdsmen and to a large extent the Hausas have been emboldened by the ascension of one of their sons to Aso Rock. Since Muhammadu Buhari became the president and started making good efforts to eviscerate Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen have gradually become the nightmare of the Nigerian people.

The danger in this is, Boko Haram restricted its activities majorly to the North East but Fulani herdsmen are nomadic farmers who are grazing their cows allover the nation. This is why the crisis would easily be a national threat. The Fulani tribe are largely livestock farmers and they value their cows over human lives. This is why they think that the only way to protect their cows is to kill anybody who tampers with them. It is business.

The major factor a lot of people have been pondering over is how these skinny, earring wearing abokis got AK47? My answer is, look at the herdsmen , do they look like people who can afford those cows ? I don’t think so, most of them are just rearers. They have bosses and those bosses are I believe, the suppliers of these arms. If you are a business #man and you discover that you need to fortify your workers to protect your goods from hooligans, won’t you do something about it?

This is what I believe happens, the herdsmen could have been complaining to the cow owners that the cows are always slaughtered by farmers in different communities, since you can’t provide policemen to follow them round Nigeria, they give them guns.

The unfortunate thing is that this translate to the lose of human lives! The herdsmen have become merchants of death. So far they have killed people from different parts of Nigeria. The president refused to sternly condemn their activities for a long time until yesterday . He has forgotten that we know that he is also a Fulani cattle farmer!
The entire Fulani race are also making a serious mistake. They forget that with this crisis, they are gradually squandering their chances of getting a second term for their son, Muhammadu Buhari.

The Igbos:
Hebrews, Igbos, the Igbos! The Israelites in Nigeria. The hated tribe of Nigeria. The Igbo have always been the worst victims of any mass murder in Nigeria. Since 1960 the Igbos have suffered the most from the hands of their neighbours and most especially the Northerners. Biafra war was the climax, over 3 million lives lost!

Imagine how large the Igbo race would have been by now if we didn’t loose those 3 million lives? What did we do wrong? What sin did we commit to be in this wrong position? This is why you can’t fault the struggles of the likes of Emeka Ojukwu, Ralph Uwazurike and the new kid on the block, Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB gang. They are only fighting for one thing, a better welfare package for their people be it in Nigeria or in a sovereign nation called Biafra.
