In an effort to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, the son of the president, Shehu Musa Yar'Adua, may have followed his mother's footsteps when he and his friends launched their pet project called Nigeria Dream Team.

The group comprising the former president of the Children's Parliament, Ibrahim Abdullahi, Abubakar Yaroson, Abdulfatah-Ahmed Wadada and Musa Musa, yesterday visited the Mother Theresa Children's Home, Gwarimpa.

They were at the orphanage to donate foodstuff and beverages to the children.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Ibrahim said the idea behind setting up Nigeria Dream Team was to bridge the gap between children of the rich and the poor.

In his words, "Our vision as a team is to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor by giving children of the less-privileged a sense of belonging.

“We want to identify with them and make them see that every child, irrespective of his or her background, has a right to good life."

He said though this effort was the first of its kind from the Team, they hoped to make more impact with time.

The matron of the home, Mrs. Ijeoma Njoku, who received the gifts on behalf of the founder of the home, Yeye Bolanle Dare, thanked the team for the show of love and support.

Jokers, trying to hide the fact that thier parents,(politicians) are responsible for those children's poverty and miseries.

They should campaign against the stupidity and hopelessness of their parents first then every other thing will fall into place, including the children well being.
