Today, a truck conveying 'scrap' military armoured vehicles bearing the logo of the United nations was spotted in traffic at Orile-iganmu road, lagos.

The question is..are these trucks being conveyed to Nigeria to fight Boko Haram?...Scrap/condemned armored vehicles?

I personally saw these scraps myself. Infact, I counted 6 trucks carrying 2 each of such scraps. Someone said that it seems to be the so called tanks donated recently to niGERia by Obama's USA.

1st off these are nt tanks, they are armoured personel carriers and u may call the scraps but they may 1 day be all that stands btw the soldiers who fight daily and the bullet from an AK47. Nigeria bought 2nd hand T-72 tanks and the helped immensely in turning the Tide of the BH war

Imbecilic OP these are Nigerian hardware that were deployed for UN peace keeping in war torn African countries returning to pass through the redeployment process into the service of the Nigerian Army. Definitely to be used in the fight against Boko haram.

Correct. There are Nigerian Armoured cars bought by us and paid daily for by the UN. After the deployments they come back home and they should rightly be deployed against
