Those are mainly zinc roofs. Roofs are not made with asbestos but it could be used in roofing depending on what kind of roofing it is.

You have to consider the cost of accommodation, transport and feeding. These 3 are expected to be lower in Ibadan compared to Lagos.

However, don't overlook the fact that careerwise, Lagos offers better promise.

I'll advise you to choose N100,000 in Lagos, ceteris paribus i.e. all other things being equal. This is because you may later discover that there are less jobs I Ibadan that would pay you well in the nearest future. You are likely going to be stuck below N100,000 for a very long time. But in Lagos, N100,000 is a good way to jump-start your financial life and if you are diligent, after a few cross-carpeting, you'll find yourself earning over double of that.

Lagos is cheap, cheaper than PH Abuja et al but it is the most expensive in the SW. Only transportation sef na die. In Ibadan you still fit get Taxi 30-50 naira. You can still take okada to some destination for 30 naira. Food and accommodation too are cheaper over there.

To me it depends on the distance and transport cost and type of job

Ibadan will be far better no matter what..everything is money in Lagos...from axcomodation to transport, water ,tax etc too exorbitant .O yes nothing is free and the place is too congested

Nothing is free in ibadan too.. the percentage increase in expenses you would incur for choosing to stay in lagos rather than ibadan would definitely not be up 100%. But then you would be having an 100% increase in income for staying in lagos. So Lagos is far better.

that is nt a point the highest transport fair in IB is btwn 100-150 compare that to lagos so as for me everything still go down with the OP comparing housing,feeding,transportation and he/she should nt 4get hold up too for both states

You have rent to pay, transport (increases without warning), food...forget running car in Lagos on 100k salary.

I've moved around Ibadan in one whole day and i dint spend up to N2000. Can you try that in Lagos? Cab from Ketu to Oregun alone will cost you an average of N2500.

dats what you think...i served in ibadan and live in Lagos... That 50k in ib is worth more than 200k in lag..... Life in ibadan is stress free.

Take the Ibadan job. Cost of living there is half that of Lagos plus you get to have extra time to catch by our breathe after a hard day's job plus your sanity is safe.

Any time any day i will choose Ibadan. I have lived in both cities and understand better. Many people pointing to lagos habve not experience comfortable life here in ibadan.

Accomodation is cheap, you can get 3 bedroom flat btw 100-150k with titles and water running.
Transport is cheap. Imagine from iwo road to new garage is just 100-120 naira a distance times 4 of ketu to oshodi
Infact you can still take 20 naira bus or car to your destination.
Then food is cheap, i mean cheap!

50k salary earner in Ibadan is far better than 200k earner in Lagos.

I came to serve in Ibadan and i decided to settle there.

No traffic wahala, no stress or whatsoever.
