The rich soil of the acclaimed giant of Africa, Nigeria has been a huge blessing to the country with the citizens blissfully mediating with the land through seeds which germinate into a source of living for families, brothers and sisters.

Nigeria which is a lawful state provides that ownership of land belongs to the government of a state while possession and occupation belongs to individuals who have such title; under the law entering of another’s land without authorization is trespass. Human rights today is been abused by Fulani brothers who possess of Guns and daggers, they are Nigerian so they are brothers. But these brothers have suddenly turned to “Cain” by making farmlands Abattoirs which now runs with blood of other fellow Nigerians.

Ajanlekoko lives in the community of Oke-Ogun in the Ibadan with his family of six having graduated from one of our universities in Nigeria with expertise in Agriculture. The Young future leader had settled to cultivate the only inheritance left for the family by their late father, planting various crops and legumes. These were fresh excreta so he decided to hurriedly see the herdsman who had led them into his farmland. Luck shown on him as the herdsman was taking a short rest close by. Ajanlekoko said “Aboki megida Sanu”…I don’t like how you led your cattle into my land destroying my only source of living. The herdsman response was provocative “Na Allah get land” he replied.

Ajanlekoko got angered with his tone signifying anger and dissatisfaction which led to Adamu, the Fulani herdsman threatening to kill Ajanlekoko whose land he had trespass upon. In the ensuring argument, a loud slap landed on Ajanlekoko’s face and he fought back bravely putting the herd man’s back to the floor like it was a “Gidigbo contest”. Chai, Walahi…I go kill you today roared the anguished Fulani who ran to the shade where he had kept his property, returning with a dagger which he used to club Ajanlekoko to death.

The echoes of war looms as Agbekoya warriors have been summoned in the South West; history recorded the bravery of the Agbekoya Warriors against the Military which lasted for 14years. The Biafran also will not fold arms until their generation is wiped off by Gun/Dagger wielding herdsmen. The Green White Green flag has been over soaked and might tear off!

Chinua Achebe said it and it re-echoes “There was a Country”…will the Giant of Africa, Nigeria crumble Will you stare while it crumbles!
